Falling into Place

It has been a long year since last August when we were fired. But things are finally turning around for us at work (knock on wood). We are finalizing a good lead source which I can not mention yet until finalized. We are slowly make some money again, not like we were before but hopefully soon. And I have a new tentant in my condo and we have only missed one month of no rent. Which is good in this economy. I am hoping once we get going with our new lead source here at work I can slowly stop working my second job at U-Haul. Yes I have been working two jobs. Not very fun, I miss out on having a weekend or just some free time at night with my sweetie. I have missed going to Big Bear at least once a month to relax. But hopefully in the next month or so this will all change back to the way it was before we were fired last August of 2008. My wife has been great with supporting me at times that I needed it or just listened to me talk about nothing. It has been a hard year but hopefully it is all coming to a happy ending and back to normal once again.
Sorry if this post just seems like I am rambling.....

Weekend of Fun

Well, this weekend was full of work and fun. Saturday morning I went to work until 2:30pm and then headed home for a family gathering at our community pool and then dinner at our house. We did this because Jeanette's mom was still and town and My mother and father, along with my Brother, Steven and his wife and two kids wanted to hang out with us and Jeanette's mom. It was a great afternoon of swimming. Huck is almost 3 and had his swimming life jacket on and was swimming around the pool saying "I'm swimming".
We then enjoyed a dinner of shredded beef, make it yourself burritos. And watched "It's a Bugs Life".
Then on Sunday, Jeanette took her mommy to the airport for her travels home. We will miss you mommoy. While I went to work at u-haul. Then after work we headed up to Hermosa Beach. Where my cousin Arlene Purdy and her husband Ted Purdy(yes the pro Golfer) and their kids had rented a beach house for the week. We had a family gathering. We played on the beach and the Purdy's cooked dinner(HOT DOGS!!!) and had some great music playing and visiting with family. As we watched people on the beach and the walk way.
All and all it was a great weekend. I hope everyone else had a good weekend too.

San Francisco Trip

We had a great time up in San Francisco. We meet Jeanette's mom up there and she traveled around the town with us. We used the bus system this time instead of renting a car. It was cheaper but we had to add time to our travel where ever we went in San Francisco. I think we will rent a car next time at least for one day. We went to my favorite resturant up there SCOMA'S, it has the best Lobster tail ever. Here are some of the things we did.

Next day we spent time on Alcatraz Island. Did you know that you can spend the night there, but it needs to be with a group and you have to win a lotto pick to stay the night. And you can sleep in a cell or in the hospital, COOL!!!!


The tour we took was the night tour on Alcatraz. Best pictures are at sunset.

Then we went back the next morning, way to early but we had to be there before 9:30am to go on the Garden Tour. We were able to go to places that were roped off.


The Garden Tour was a great Tour and we learned more about the island then we did on the regular tour.


We had a great time and can't wait to go back again, and hopefully really soon.

Big Bear!! Best Breakfast

In Big Bear I have a great place to eat it is called the Grizzly Manor. It is a small place and family owned. It only serves breakfast. There is always a line and you will wait for a good 30 to 40 minutes on weekends if you don't get there ealier. The give you good size meals. Here is what I get when I go there:

Yes, We did it this year. I know this post is late. Put I just wanted to put it out there. I think we will repeat since we picked up Artest!!!!

Halo 3

Yes, Halo 3 came out about a year ago. We are having a Halo night again. Thank you sweetie for putting up with these Halo nights. Have fun at Grace's. Here are some pictures of Halo 3 if you have not seen it........

Hello Again

Hello everyone(my one or two people that do read my blog, when I blog). I have started a new job, well new company same thing. I work in Dana Point with a great company. I will have to let you know more later. But some fun things I am looking forward too.

Then I found this new game that is great, Frontlines Fuel of War for Xbox 360. If you don't have it get it.



The opening of this game has some very interesting ideas of how the world could end up in the future. If you think about it we are already over in Irqa fight for oil...think about it.
Well, since I have access and time to do this I may start blogging more,but don't hold me too it.
