Busy, Busy...

Whether I feel like I accomplish a lot or not my days always seem to be filled! Keeping up on our blog has taken a backseat to kids and all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that come with them. I decided to post the most current pictures I have downloaded and the rest will come whenever I feel like that is what I want to do with the few spare minutes I get to myself!

Talon was just 6 days old here! Time goes way too fast! Bryton is such a good big brother and a great helper. We sure love having him around.

Callie Turned 2!
On August 13th Callie turned 2! Grandma Bluth and Grandma Smith both got her mini cupcakes for her birthday since we didn't celebrate until a week later. They were a hit! She could eat one in two to three bites and then ask for more. She is the cutest little girl! Of course she is all girl which means she is so cute and smiley and loves everything from her pretty dresses to painting her nails! It also means that she is quite a bit more dramatic than Bryton ever was! She has a little bit of a persistent personality as well. She just gets more fun everyday. She loves copying anything and everything that Bryton does or says. She is now to the point that I can understand the majority of what she is saying, which has helped in the whining department. Her favorite two songs are the Bumblebee song (bringing home a baby bumblebee), and Popcorn Popping. She nows a few letters and how to count to ten with an occasional missing 6. She has brought so much joy to our lives! We love her and are glad she is a part of our family!

Talon was 9 days old in these pictures. He is now almost 4 months! I cannot believe it! He has been such a good baby. He reminds us a lot of his brother. As long as he is fed he is a happy little boy. He will smile at anyone who gives him attention. He started laughing a few weeks ago and does it more as the days go on. Grandma Bluth can always get him to laugh and it is the cutest thing because he just grins from ear to ear! He is the perfect addition to our family!

Talon Kai Bluth

It is nearing the end of nap time so I will try to get as many pictures as I can with my slow internet before I have to call it quits!
 My 3 Handsome Boys
Our 1st family picture with Talon (excuse my dad's finger in the corner!)
Grandma and Grandpa decided to dress up for the occasion! ha, ha  They actually left church early to be able to help with Bryton and Callie while Talon was being delivered.
Callie loving her real life baby!

So, Sunday August 7th around 8:30 am I started feeling like I had a stomachache. I thought it was possible that it could be contractions but wasn't sure since I had never gone into labor before. Around 10 am I was having contractions every 10 mins lasting a little under a minute each. Since I was having another C-Section I was supposed to go to the hospital as soon as I was in active labor. At that point I wasn't sure if I should go yet so I called the hospital. The nurse said to drink plenty of water and try to just relax. I got in the shower and then laid down on the couch for a little bit. By noon I decided that relaxing was no longer an option and laying down was only making them worse so I decided to go in. When I got to the hospital a little before 1 pm, my contractions were between 2-3 mins apart lasting a minute each! They admitted me and started getting me ready to go into the operating room. Talon was born at 2:04 pm! 7.5 lbs and 19" long. My biggest baby by almost 1 lb! After he was delivered I was in the operating room for what seemed like a long time! When I got out I received the not so great news that my bladder had been attached to my uterus and therefore had to be cut in order to get Talon out. I was then told that I would have to keep my catheter in for a week in order to allow it to heal. Well, a week turned into a week and a half and little to say I was sooo excited when I went into the doctor to have it removed! After that I started feeling a lot better and have been doing great since! I am just trying to enjoy every minute I have with all of my kids but especially Talon because it seems like time is just flying by!

The Cutest Little Girl Ever!

A couple pictures of Callie sleeping. She rarely falls asleep anywhere but her bed so we have to capture these moments! She just makes me smile even when she is asleep!
I know it is not an ideal way to entertain a 2 year old but when I need Callie to sit down for a bit while I do something she will watch movies or play games on my Ipod. She was so tired after playing outside one day that she fell asleep watching a movie.
This is on the way to Grandpa and Grandma Smith's after church one Sunday

Slowly....

But surely I will get up to date with the blog! Just when I think I will have a little time to do something, I remember that I now have 3 kids and no longer have time for anything else! Not even sleep!
With that said, a couple weeks before I had Talon, Bryton was able to do a week long soccer camp at the sports complex by our house. He enjoyed most of it but I am pretty sure that soccer is not going to be his thing. He has a little bit of a hard time staying focused! It could be the age or the camp because he was not the only one but I sure felt like he was. I had to remind myself that it was just for fun anyway.
This is his group on the last day
KINDERGARTEN
The week after soccer camp Bryton started his first day of Kindergarten. He was super excited all summer long to start! I didn't get very many pictures because he wanted to just get to school instead of posing for the camera. Now that he has been in for a little bit, he has learned that Kindergarten is not quite as fun as preschool! He likes it and does well but has his days already that he asks if he has to go?! I hope this is not a sign of how the next 12 years of school will be!

Going Swimming and A Peak of Talon Kai Bluth

This summer we have been swimming quite a bit at Tono's parent's house. My mom bought Callie this super cute swimsuit and cap. Callie found her glasses and wanted to put them on with her swim attire. She thought she was pretty cute! I would have to say that I agree!

With the arrival of Talon last Sunday I have not had much time to update the blog with details but I will hopefully get to it soon. Here are a couple pictures of him that I took today so everyone can at least see the cute little boy that I get to be with everyday!

Attempting...

Sooo... Here is my attempt to finally catch up on my blog! I tried to find the highlights of the last 6 months and I don't have pictures of it all but here is a little of what we have been up to.

Dirt Bike
Uncle Colton got a new dirt bike and brought it to our house so the kids could see it. It happened to be freezing cold that day which never really happens here! Callie didn't care if her nose was red and running and her hands were like ice cubes, she did not want to get off!

Bryton Turns 5 January 25th!
We just had a small family birthday at the park for Bryton. Grandma Smith made him an awesome dirt bike cake that was super yummy! He got some really fun gifts including his new bike! He was so excited because Uncle Colton and Dad picked it out for him and Uncle Colton even built him a ramp for it!

Utah
In February, my best friend Kandis had her 2nd little boy and I was able to go see her the first part of March. It was fun to get to see her and play with her little boy Nixon! Here we are at the mall play area inside the dinosaur skull!

Preschool Grocery Store Field Trip
(This is what Callie looked like at the end of the trip!)

Big Girl Bed!
Callie was so excited when we made her crib into a toddler bed! She would get on and off of it laughing for the first few days! It was a fun new toy to her!

Superstition Farms Field Trip
The kids had so much fun on this field trip! They got to see a 6 week old colt and 2 calf's that had been born within the 2 hours prior to us getting there. They also got to feed, pet and even hold some animals. Before we left they all got to taste one of the flavored milks. They had something like 13 different flavors! Bryton had peaches and cream.

Another Birthday Boy!
On May 18th Tono celebrated his 30th Birthday! We had to celebrate with him a couple days early because we were actually gone on his birthday! Here are the kids helping him blow out the candles.

Playing Outside
Callie's favorite thing to do outside is push her little tikes car on our driveway! Sometimes she will get in it but mostly she just runs behind it. I swear, with the exception of right now when its 115 outside, she could spend all day doing this! She likes to follow Bryton everywhere so she will chase him while he is riding his bike. We have nicknamed her MONKEY DO!

Cameron and Katie's Wedding!
We flew to South Carolina for my brother Cameron's wedding in May. It was an extremely long trip to and from but luckily the kids did great traveling and thanks to the help of my parents and sister I was able to handle it! While there we enjoyed some beautiful scenery, a cute house that we stayed in, good food and great company. They were sealed on May 21st and everything was beautiful including my brother's new wife Katie!
Bryton was such a good helper with Callie on the plane! He even let her sit on his lap to watch out the window!
Bryton with Cam and Katie outside the temple. He looked so handsome in his suit that Grandma got him!
Callie playing at the house where the reception was, waiting for everyone to be ready for pictures
Grandpa Smith pushing Bryton on the tree swing
Callie and Bryton dancing with Uncle Cam
Bryton being the life of the party and loving every minute!

CA/Lake Powell
Cameron and Katie had an open house/reception in Rocklin, CA where we are from a couple weeks later and we were able to go to that as well. This time Daddy got to come! I didn't take any pictures sadly but we sure had a good time seeing all of our friends that were there! We drove from there to Lake Powell to be with Tono's family. It was a lot of driving, 32 hours to be exact, but well worth it! The kids and I stayed the whole week at Lake Powell and Tono drove home half way through. Lake Powell is one of our favorite places and after 4 years of not going it was nice to be able to go this time!
Callie and Daddy on the back of the boat
 Callie playing on the beach
Bryton had so much fun fishing and with the help of Dad even caught this fish!
Whether there were fish around or not Bryton loved to try to catch something wherever he was.
Bryton had to be talked into going off the houseboat's slide but after the first time he was begging to do it again!
He said he looks like a bird flying in this one! Some of the cousins were with him to encourage him so he wouldn't be scared. It worked!
Callie playing with her cousin Tatum in a muddy hole. They stayed out there all afternoon and loved it!
One night after Tono had left Bryton, Callie and I needed to get clean before we went to bed so after getting Callie washed I put a movie on in our room for her. Then I washed Bryton and he said he would stay with Callie while I washed off and got ready for bed. When I finished I came back in the room to find the two of them on the bed like this. It was the cutest thing! The next morning Bryton said, "Mom, last night Callie started crying and couldn't sleep so I turned the movie off and let her lay by me!" Sometimes he can be so sweet!
While we were waiting to go home Aunt Toniann helped the kids feed some ducks that were swimming by the boat. Callie loved it!

Last but not least, for those that don't know, we will be welcoming our 3rd child on August 10th! We are so excited to have another little BOY in our family! I have been organizing things and going through clothes to see what I have and both of the kids are so excited to see all the baby stuff because that means he is almost here!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year! We spent lots of time with family playing and relaxing. A couple weeks before Christmas, Santa was at a nearby shopping center so we went to visit him. Callie loved playing in the bubble filled fountain but did not want anything to do with Santa! Bryton enjoyed both. Christmas Eve we went to the Mesa Temple to see the lights and watch Tono's cousin sing. Then we went back to my parents to do read the story of Jesus' birth and decorate cookies for Santa. On Christmas day we opened presents at our house and then went and opened a bunch more at my parents! We spent the rest of the day just relaxing, watching movies and playing at the park.

Callie was fascinated by the thick bubbles in the fountain and obviously so was Bryton!

Bryton did the part of baby Jesus on Christmas Eve

(later she decided to try to bite his head)

 Walking to the park
Callie walked a total of almost a mile that day and just loved being outside!
