Sailyr - halloween

This was sailyr's first year not trick or treating with us.  Of course she went with her friends.   They all looked so cute!  Im very thankful for this group of girls - and I'd like to take credit for them, because last summer I was praying really hard for her to find a good group of friends.   And now, we've landed with a handful of very, very good friends. They made their way around 4 whole neighborhoods last night, then went to remmys for about an hour.

 I also helped in sailyr's class for her Halloween party.  I snapped a couple pics of her and remmy - but they were not cooperating very well.  

This little sailyr might only be 10, but goodness she is growing up. 

Halloween!

Halloween Day!  I basically cooked all day, I got sugar cookies made last night, pumpkin bread today, decorated cookies today, made mummy hot dogs for lunch (hardly anyone was hungry because Devin made a big breakfast), Taco soup for dinner, with pumpkin bread bowls, dry ice root beer, and lots of potion drinks. 

 

We also carved the pumpkins today - since we were gone to panguitch last weekend and hadn't had time to do it yet.  Ill have to have kids take pics with their pumpkins tomorrow.   Then I got all the kids re dressed up (they dressed up for school yesterday)  and after dinner it was time to trick or treat.

Trick or treating - the pic above is funny cause the skeleton was smiling for the pic too.  :)  I put our candy in a dead mans tummy on our side walk for trick or treaters.  It was spooky and cute!

 

Will's isnt really a fan of halloween.  She got a couple treats and was excited about that - telling Devin "teat" when she would come back to the car.  But mostly she just climbed around the car and cried.  :)  Poor girl got Indie's cold and has been teething, so its been a long week for her.  

We have cute neighbors who get really into halloween and set up little mini spook allys in their yards.  Its so cute!  I love it.  This is Indie and Fin going through a spooky yard.

Dumping candy out at home and seeing what they got.   Grandma Lois came up this year! 

Had to go out and take a pic of our house, you cant really see the giant spiders all over the house once its dark - but it was really cute.  We had an old halloween radio thing in front of the door that played spooky music.  And the dead man with candy - I had to fill him up 3 times.  lots of kids out tonight.

And I took a few pics of the kids last week, because I knew they would be grumpy about it and in a rush to trick or treat today. 

My kids planned this whole Alice in Wonderland theme by them selves, it was cute - Fin was the mad hatter, Sailyr is queen of hearts, Indie is cheshire cat, and Willow is Alice.  They were darling! 

Deer Camp in So. Utah

 We had the best weekend in Panguitch!  We were able to see so much family and show our kids good ol' deer camp.  I honestly cant believe we had not come to utah for deer camp in quite a few years, it was fun.  The kids discovered the fun tree, did lots of coloring and games in grandmas trailer, rode the zip line, rode on the 4-wheeler, went hunting with dad, Fin found a deer shed, Fin was also out hunting with everyone when Justice shot his deer, we ate lots of good food, Sailyr and Fin slept out one night and I think Sailyr only stayed out for the yummy breakfast that she would get the next morning.  Indie and Willow drove into town with me each night and slept, but they had fun when we went out in the evenings, Willow even warmed up to Kolton and sat on his lap to watch cocomelon with Brixton.  :)  This girl is so shy, its basically the first time she has sat on anyone else's lap.

I didnt take any other pics but we also went to grandma farnsworth's and she went through her christmas stuff with us, I let each of my girls pick out a nativity that Grandma was wanting to get rid of.  It was fun to see all of Grandma's old Christmas stuff.  My kids thought it was fun too.
