End of year dance/cheer

Guess where we were yesterday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm???  We were watching dance.  I love watching that sailyr girl up there on stage.... but it makes for the longest evening, especially with indie and willow. 

Sailyr performanced in the opening, then her 2 dances, her cheer performance,  and the finale.   She is a beautiful dancer and does great on stage. 

 And thats it for the year!  (Actually tryouts for next year are in a few weeks , but they do get a good break for summer.  )  her teacher texted me a few days ago saying sailyr is ready for competition team.  So I think we might step it up a little for next year.... and still do cheer and gymnastics.  

Basically what I'm saying is, I better just get used to being in auditoriums, cause I'm probably going to live here now. 

Sailyr 4th grade program

Sailyr's 4th grade class did a idaho history program yesterday and today.  Devin and I went and watched today.  They sang idaho songs, including the idaho state song and the counties of idaho song.  Its funny cause devin and I know nothing about idaho,  so we learned a lot too!

Fin 2nd grade field trip

Finley's 2nd grade went to the artitorium and the zoo on Thursday for a field trip.   I took the two littles with me and we tagged along at the zoo with fin.  She was in a little group with these kiddos.  Eden and Angelina were the girls.  Indie snuck in a few photos as well.  It was fun!  I love our cute idaho falls zoo.  It was fun to go back after a long winter. 

 

Indie 5 birthday!

Sunday May 16, 2021 Indie turned 5.  And we were all under her command that day because she was the Birthday Queen.  I told her sisters they had to do anything she asked them to do.   We had planned a birthday party for her on tuesday, so I didnt get a lot of birthday pics on sunday.  Except the ones above.  I told the girls to give her a big hug and kiss that night when we were getting ready for bed.  

- That day we did go to the apple orchard, went to church and the primary sang to her (she also got a card to take to the bishop for a treat), and got ice cream twice!

Tuesday was her party!  She was so excited!  Sailyr made her cake....

We had a princess party.  Bliss, Alice, Indie, Penelope, Remi, and Clementine all came in their princess dresses.

 opened presents, and let the girls play.  It was fun!  It was Indie's first friend party because of Covid last year.  She has the cutest little friends.

Yesterday after a photosession I came home to this.  :)  

Devin put together my gas fireplace that I ordered a couple of weeks ago.

I had plans of it going on the back porch, but he had burning on the front porch and it was really quite cozy.  It probably looked like our house was on fire if you were looking at us from the street.  

All of my children and Dev sat around the fire last night visiting.  I even let them all stay up past bedtime because we were having such a fun evening.  (School needs to get out so we are not a slave to bedtimes) 

I will probably move it around a couple times before I am happy with where its at.  But it was a cozy little evening on the front porch.

Sunday we went up to the apple orchard and garden to check out the blossoms.  I used to get my kids all dressed up and be so prepared for this day.  But after 4 kids - I just dont have it in me to care what they are wearing.  So they each dressed themselves.  A few still wearing their church dress from church, and messy afternoon hair  Its fine.  :)  Maybe next year I will have the energy to make this photoshoot a little more fancy.  :)

This was actually Indies 5th birth day!!!!!  I will post about it in another post.  But these pictures are Indie girl- on the day she turned 5.  It seems like yesterday she was huge in my tummy and we went to the orchard to see the blossoms and take a couple maternity pictures.  And then the next year we did 1 year old pics of her (wobbling around, not walking yet) in the blooming orchard.  So I guess Indie's birthday and apple blossoms just go together.
