Only the Best, of 2011!!!

What a year it has been.
Honestly, its been the best year of my life.
Here are just a few of my favorite memories of 2011...

We started hanging out with this little one!

And I watched as she fell in love with her 'dada'

And I listened to a baby talk and talk, and talk.... and talk!

I rocked a baby to sleep

We sent Cree off to the army, and flew out to his graduation.  I am a proud sister (of both my brothers)

I had the most amazing mothers day.

And had an amazing summer!

Watched Cree get married.

 Watched my roses bloom

Had a beautiful 4th of July at the cabin.

Saw an angel return home.

really, we had the best summer!

Watched my beautiful sunflowers grow over 6 feet tall!

Heard Sailyr say "dada" for the first time

Turned 25

Celebrated 4 years of marriage with my best friend!

Sat for an entire hour and just watched the first snow fall.

Loved on my baby girl, and watched her grow.

Ok, now I am going to go cry...
mostly tears of happiness.
A few sad, because its over.
Man!!! What a year!
You know that saying that says,
"Life is not about the number of breaths you take
but the number of moments that take your breath away."
Well, I feel like I am living that.
There have been times this year that were just
magic.

Happy New Years!!

Sailyr turned 1!!!

I told Sailyr she was not allowed to turn one, but she did anyway.  I had so many mixed emotions about her first birthday.  Of course I was excited and happy, but I could not believe it had been an entire year since she was born.  Of course we had a party with all of her cousins and she got spoiled.  Here are some of my scrap book pages from her birthday...

And of course we cant forget to say Happy Birthday to Great Grandma Ann!!!  She turned 70 this year, I asked her what she has learned in 70 years... and she modestly said "I don't know".  But, I don't believe her... so grandma, if your reading this, I still want to know what you have learned in 70 years.

Christmas Eve and Morning!!

We started out Christmas Eve by going to my Grandma's house.
Here are a couple of pictures of Sailyr sitting under her tree.
After a good visit, we went back to my moms and SURPRISE! There was new furniture sitting in the living room!!  Merry Christmas Grandma Lois!

Christmas morning came and from the looks of it, Santa did too!
Sailyr did pretty good opening up all the gifts, although she did get a little bored near the end.

Devin and I made her this cute doll bed for Christmas, and the bedding and doll are from Grandma Englestead!

We had a wonderful Christmas.  It was great to see all of our family.  The good thing about this blog is I can say what I have to say.  So for Grandma Lois, Grandma Corrine, and Grandpa Kay, Grandma Farnsworth... We Love you all so much! Thanks for all you do for us, Christmas would not have been nearly as wonderful with out you!!

check back for Sailyr's first birthday and scrole down for the E-Christmas party!!

Christmas Party with the Englesteads!

Sailyr had a great time at her first Christmas Party at Grandma Englestead's.  Grandpa Excell came with his guitar and sang to us, before all the kids ripped open their gifts.

Sailyr got a cabbage patch doll, a suitcase, and a doll blanket and pillow that grandma quilted together (its so cute, I can't believe I did not take a picture of it that night... I will get one).
She really loved her suitcase, it has minny mouse on the front and when Sailyr finally got the wrapping paper off she gave Minny a big kiss!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Englestead!!
