I cant help but think Bath Time pictures are the cutest of all the baby-hood pictures!

We have been busy!  I had Dance sign ups and Seminary this week, luckily both have started off great!  And I even worked up some motivation for both.  And let me tell you, working up motivation for the old testament was kinda tricky- but I am happy to say I am so excited to teach it!

Oh yeah, and I turned 25 yesterday!
It was a great day, and I got spoiled!
Devin's mom gave me a much needed new purse and a few other cute things.  My mom paid for me to order my book with all of our Europe Pictures in it!  It should be here in a couple of weeks!!
I treated myself to a little online-retail therapy and a Mandarin orange cake!
My most favorite birthday cake!
We even got a sitter so we could go out to dinner in peace.

And everyone meet lil singer...

She came wrapped in Green wrapping paper yesterday, a gift from heaven above! Oh yeah, and from Devin :)  I think the two of us (3 of us , including my normal sewing machine) will be very happy together.

Good bye lose, stringy, fraying ends!
Hello Polished edges!

Camo hat for Sailyr!

Yesterday it was the start of a weekend and surprisingly we had nothing going on!  Really, I love summer but I do not like how busy we all get.  Anyway we deiced to ride up and go hunting with Dev for the evening.  Sailyr had a great time! She ate dinner on the mountain and even said 'DA DA' for the first time!!!

I was holding Sailyr and we were walking over to where Dev was standing and when he turned to look at us Sailyr simply said "da da".  We both laughed, telling her, yes that is dada.  And a few times after that every time Dev would come sit by us or something she would look at him and say "da da".
It was probably one of the best 10 moments of Devin's life!

8 Months & Our Sunflowers!

Sailyr turned 8 months old today (tear*)

And.... look! Our giant sunflower bloomed!!!  They are close to 8 feet tall!!  Here is a little picture mash up of our sunflower pictures.  Keep in mind that I took a picture every other week... so it grew pretty dang  fast!
On Picture number 6 the flower heads were facing the other way tonight... but I decided to just take the picture and get it done! So sorry, all this and you dont even get to see the blooms :)  We have about 6 other sunflower that are blooming right now! So I am loving my yard!!!  I took some pictures, but dont have time to upload them tonight... maybe later!

Weekend in Lehi

Well, we are still alive!!!  We have had a busy week! Devin was away flying for work Sunday evening- wed night, the we all packed up and left Thursday.  Devin headed down to Southern Utah for a hunt, and Sailyr and I traveled to Northern Utah to see some family.  I decided I better get up there before seminary, dance, and winter hit - so it was perfect timing.  We defiantly got our shopping on!  First stop was the gate way with aunt nae!! :) In 4 days we hit 4 different malls, Sailyr handled it like a champ! She loved looking at all the lights and people, even on our long rides in the car she was very happy! ..... thankfully!

My uncle had 10 little lab puppies,  Poor Sailyr got lots of puppy kisses :) Don't worry, we saved her...

Here she is with Great Grandma, and Janae.  She actually sat still and let Grandma rock her and sing an old lullaby to her. They kept trying to teach her naughty things like how to crawl. :)   During these 4 days she really warmed up to them both, especially Janae, so it was kinda sad when it was time to go.
In the picture below she does not look like it but she was laughing really hard!

My friend Hollee lives in West Jordan and does pictures so we also got Sailyr's 8 month pictures done while we were up there.

These are not them, but these are the 6 month pictures we got done in St. George.  I figure I better get them posted before her 8 months get here!

Its good to be home!  We will both be happy when our daddy gets home too!  We miss him.

Baby Sailyr

Here is Sailyr's birth day video I made.
My little baby was so tiny and sweet...
Now she is a crazy woman who likes to churp like an elk!
Sorry it is bad quality as well, just so I could upload it faster...

Good Morning!

Wow! What a crazy week we just had.  Anyone else get home and sleep all day Sunday?
Even little Sailyr was exhausted.  She took huge naps yesterday and went to bed at 6:30.
It was so great to see so much family last week, but would have been better under different circumstances.
We had Grandma & Grandpa E out here for a few days!  Grandma E was even nice enough to baby sit all day for me while I went in for a few extra hours at the salon!
We love them, and are so thankful for everything they do for us!

Anyway,  LOOK!
My beautiful Sunflowers!!!!!
Only one has started to bloom, but the rest will be starting soon.
Here is Sailyr next to our giant flowers...
I think this might be the last picture before they bloom!
They have even started to droop at the top..

Sailyr has started to make this funny kissy face.
But she scrunches her nose and eyebrows then breaths really hard through her nose...
(kinda like a little pig or something)
I don't know how she started doing it, but we love it!
She is also getting pretty close to crawling.
Last night while she was playing on her blanket she kept getting her knees tucked up under her and pushing up.  So that she was in the crawling position.

and, I had to get a picture of her watching t.v.
She does this all the time, so funny.

Anyway, we have another busy week ahead of us!
Have a good monday!

Today was brought to you by.....

The Number 4!!!

Four years,
That's were we are right now.
Yesterday I found myself in the middle of baby-sitters
And dirty diapers
And a baby who is used to getting all my attention,
so even trying to blow dry my hair was a challenge.
We finally got away and went out for a few hours.
It was nice.
We did not go to some fancy restaurant,
in some big city.
But we had fun together,
Eating Chicken Lips at Sidewinders.
We even found ourselves laughing,
really hard.
I love that boy.

europe video

for the past few weeks I have been uploading tons of home videos and making them into dvds.
But I had to try my hand at something a little more creative!
Here is a little peek at our europe trip.
And sorry its 90% of me and 10% of Devin, he was our videographer over there.
And another sorry that the quality is so horrible, I had to do that so it would not take 40 hours to upload :)

Check back in a few days, I have a really cute video of Sailyr thats almost done!!!

I know that summer is all about going places and keeping busy.  I know we have been on the go like crazy, never a quiet moment, never a un-planned weekend.  But today was the start of a few down days...

So we took Sailyr and Lucy to the park...  and just spent time doing nothing, together.

it was wonderful.

Giant Ants come out at night

It has been a few days since I had posted any pictures.  So I have some catching up to do.  It seems like I need to blog every day (or at least upload my pictures onto the computer) or things start piling up and I get a little behind at recording our life.
Of course we have been swimming.  I was not going to post any swimming pictures except Sailyr is wearing her cute Sailor swim suit that her Aunt Kami gave her!  She looks so cute in it!
We have been taking Lucy for walks in the park
And speaking of Lucy, here she is doing what she does best! Begging for a bite of our dinner...
As much of a pain in the butt that she is, she is such a funny dog.  Really, what would we do without her...
Yesterday I let Sailyr have a taste of a peach.  It started out as just a taste...
But when I tried to take it away she was not having it!
She loved it! And by the end it was just a gooey mess
Little Sailyr has become quite the little snuggler.  Especially with Daddy... which is really the cutest thing I have ever seen. But totally not fare, I think he gets more snuggles than I do.
Our sunflower is getting pretty big! (sorry for my head in the way... I did not realize I was in the frame so much)
Sailyr is a really happy baby.  I love it, all I have to do is walk by her and give her a little look and she laughs at me.  I just want to kiss her face off.
And monday morning was the opening day of the prong horn hunt! THANKFULLY Dev got one that morning! YAY!!!!  He did not have to camp our or anything! Last night we went out in the garage and got it all cut up and in the freezer,  I know it looked a little "horror movie"-ish, so I am sure our neighbors are thinking we are weird-os now.  I told Devin by now they should know that they live by us hill-billies.
Anyway, that's about it for now.
Sailyr smiling..
Devin hunting
my sunflowers growing,
A little bit of Lucy,
with the Nevada Desert in the background.
This is what my life looks like right now.
I think its beautiful!
