superheroes...

two years!

August brought lots of fun adventures and I am sad to see it fading away. August 4th was our two year anniversary, and almost year anniversary of living together in the same country! Wahoo! I don't think it is too much to say we have loved every minute of it.



to celebrate we went to Seven Peaks all day long, got a good sunburn, went to dinner, then went to a drive in movie double header...Harry Potter and Captain America. To put it simply, it was a blast and a half.



Plus Tom gave me these awesome flowers....



So grateful and happy to be together! Here's to year three...

ode to the couch

I feel bad now that we never named our couch.

Anyone who has visited the Best house knows the wonder that is "the couch".
It lived a good long life, the duration of my entire life to date to be exact.
It endured spills, accidents of all kinds, stabs, sleepovers, sunday afternoons and slumbering naps. Most of my memories of reading, from picture books to Harry Potter marathons have taken place on this couch.

I was sad I never got to say goodbye.
