We're Ramblin Wrecks From Georgia Tech!

We went to the Georgia Tech/ Maryland game this past Saturday.
Kaden got his picture taken with BUZZ!
Who knows what the good word is?
We sat right by the cheerleaders and the players. We had fantastic seats and it was a fun game even though it was hot.
Cheering on the Jackets!
The players are so big in person. It ended up being a close game but the jackets held on to their lead to stay undefeated. 6-0 Baby!

We tried to get Kayla's picture taken with these crazy guys but she wouldn't do it.

The Fair Came To Town

It is that time of year again! We love going and taking the kids to the fair.
This is future bribery for Keaton. He still doesn't love the fast rides and all that.

This was the school bus ride and Kadenw as perfectly happy until the ride started and then he was scared. He rode it last year but for some reason it freaked him out at first. Once he realized he was okay he stopped crying and started enjoying it.
I cannot do these spinny rides anymore since I've had kids. Jason rode this one and made everyone sick by spinning it like crazy.Kaden riding the bumper boats.
Apparently, my friend's little boy got kicked off this ride because he was splashing the other kids. Too funny!

Kaden just loved this pig and insisted on having his picture taken with it.

Flag Football, T-Ball, and Soccer, OH MY!!

Keaton played flag football this summer. His team was "The Eagles".
He had a good time playing and it gave him something to do while waiting on soccer to start.
These girls were the cheerleaders for his team. They were so cute and fun to watch. Keaton was so surprised to see cheerleaders during the first game. He got distracted watching them!!
Kaden is getting ready to play in his first T-ball game. He is so excited he gets to play sports now instead of just watching Kayla and Keaton. He has been waiting a long time.
He is so cute in his little uniform. Boston Red Sox is his team and he gets so excited when Jason is watching Sports Center and he hears them talk about the Red Sox :)
He is getting really good at hitting the ball when the coach pitches it to him. In t-ball they get 3 pitches from their coach and if they don't hit it then they get 2 tries at the tee. Unfortunately, he had bad luck at the beginning of the season and his coach has hit him twice with the ball. It is not a soft ball. Both coach and Kaden have been traumatized. His coach has felt so bad. The first time he gave hima dollar and the next time he gave him the "game ball". Kaden is afraid to stand right over the plate to hit it now but we are working on it and who can blame him.
Baseball Ready!
ISn't he cute?!!
This is the only pic I have of Kayla this season playing soccer. She is now on a select team. Basically that means she has to try out and then gets placed on a team and we travel a good bit. It also costs alot more than rec but they train during off seasons as well to stay in shape and keep their skills. Some of her games have been a couple of hours away. Not an easy feat for us with 3 kids playing lots of different sports but we felt to give her a good chance for school teams and to raise her playing level that this was the best option.

Back to School!

Keaton on his first day of second grade. His teacher's name is Ms. Fambro. He loves to learn about science and social studies and he often brings one of those 2 text books home with him so he can read it for fun while he is on the bus in the afternoons.
His favorite friends in his class is Angelo and Mohammed.
Here is the big 8th grader. She is ruling the school this year and next year she will be in highschool. We can't believe how fast the time has gone.
Kayla is trying out for the school soccer team and her fav teacher is her Social Studies teacher, Ms. Nix.

Keaton's Bowling Party!

Keaton's wish was for a Pokemon cake for his birthday party this year. His wish was my command!!
All his friends, siblings, and cousins singing Happy Birthday to him.
He is getting to be a good little bowler and no longer needs the bumpers up.
The kids had a good time bowlong, eating, running around, showing off their dance moves, and playing in the arcade.
Good thing there wasn't a ton of people in the bowling alley at this time because the kids ran around alot inbetwwen their turns.
The birthday boy showing off his moves! Happy Birthday Keaton!

Kayla's Slumber Party

Kayla had yet another slumber party this year for her birthday. We were going to try for a pool party but we just couldn't work it out. Too many trips going on around that time.

She had 8 girls there so it was a good number and they had a ton of fun!

The newly crowned teenager.

Kaden's Book Parade

Kaden had a little book parade at school. Pretty much just a way to get parents to buy books at the book fair but still cute!

His class did Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The girls were goldilocks and the boys were the bears.

Kaden was being shy and wouldn't look at us when we called his name!

We got to eat breakfast with him afterwards! That was a special treat since daddy doesn't get to come to school very often.

Kayla, Keaton, and Kaden In Action

This would be Kayla and Kaden goofing off at Keaton's soccer game.

Keaton is our little all star soccer player! Every spring the coach gets to pick his 2 outstanding players and they get to go to a special game with all the other all stars and divide up and play against each other.

Jason leading his team to victory!!

Still being goofy!

This is Kaden trying to look like Uncle Patrick!!
Trying to do a header.

Kaden's reward for having to sit thru his brother and sister's soccer games all the time.

Working hard on the computer.

Kayla taking a break from being goofy and doing some much needed studying! Good thing we got it on camera. We don't see her doing this too often lately ;)
