Snow, Snow, and More Snow!

Porter loves clearing the sidewalk and driveway when it snows. It has been great for Nate because he hasn't had to do it at all this year. As soon as Porter gets home from school he heads out to clear the sidewalks.

Merry Christmas!

This year the kids had some pretty simple request. Aubrey wanted a new car seat for her baby, the only catch was she wanted it to look just like a real car seat. Porter just wanted a Star Wars helmet, gun, and light saver.
In the weeks leading up to Christmas we did what I think almost every parent does when there children are being naughty. Tell them that if they continue Santa will put coal in their stockings. Poor Porter was so worried and Nate spent a great deal of time teasing him that he may have seen coal in his stocking, that when he came down the stairs he went right by his toys headed straight for the stocking and very carefully peaked inside. He looked like he may cry, he pulled out the case Santa left for his Leapster opened it up and looked. When I asked him what he was doing, he looked up and said, "making sure I didn't get coal." Once he saw he was in the clear he couldn't be more excited.

I know I look really excited to be awake at 6am in the morning.

Gingerbread Train!

Instead of a Gingerbread House we put together a train this year. The kids really got into it and it turned out very cute.

Kids Christmas Program At Church!

The kids did a nativity and sang a song for the church Christmas program. Porter was a donkey and Aubrey was a cow.

Visit With Santa!

Santa had time to stop by the church again this year. Porter is getting harder to fool. He looked Santa up and down and told Nate that Santa looked different then last year. Nate got real nervous when he found Porter standing next to Santa after his turn just looking him over. When Santa left Porter was determined to see him take off in his sleigh. While most of the children followed Santa Porter took a side door and ran into Santa as he was trying to leave the church Nate distracted him enough that Santa was able to fly away with out being detected.
Once again Aubrey wanted nothing to do with sitting on Santa's lap. Nate had to tell Santa what she wanted.

Winter Is Here!

Winter has finally hit. It is amazing to me how touch these kids are, even with windchill they were out there for over an hour.

Snow Angles!

Baby B's Close Up!

Baby B all tucked in. You can see the baby's face, hand and foot. Goes to show there is not much room in there.
I am glad we got a close up of Baby B. Last time Baby was a little camera shy. This time Baby A didn't feel like showing its face.

Hike To The "M"

Porter has been wanted to hike the "M" all summer. Nate and him finally got a chance to hike it this fall. Porter did great they made it to the top in 19 minutes and Nate only had to carry him up a couple switchbacks.
Once up there they got a close look a deer.

They got to see the Griz practicing for their up coming game.
