Christmas in March

For Christmas, once again our Midwest daughter and family gave us two sets of tickets to Roger Rocka's dinner theater in Fresno. Tonight we enjoyed "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" . . . an evening we'll not forget. If this ever comes to your area, we highly recommend it . . .  it's a "must see!"

Here is an excerpt from an interview with one of the four actors in the show.

“This show is all about love and relationships. The ups and downs, the good and the bad. It follows a rough time line from first dates, and all the anxiety those cause, right through to elderly dating. It's an upbeat look at the happy insanity of being in love.

Yes, it can be very funny, but it's also grounding and realistic. Sometimes we don't make sense and we drive each other crazy, but there is always love."

We absolutely love going to Roger Rocka's so much that we added the rest of the season's shows to become "Season Ticket Holders" since now we'll be here for the summer rather than in Oregon!

Thanks again S and M, R and T for a great gift.

I may never see him again . . .

With over four acres to keep mowed and trimmed now, a new purchase just HAD to be made. Ken's been waiting for the rain and snow to clear up so that the grass would be dry enough to mow. With all the rain we've had this winter the grass just keeps getting higher and higher. Yesterday he went into town for gasoline . . . came home and fired up his new "Garden Tractor" for the first time. And that was that . . . off he went with a huge grin on his face . . . I may never see him again!

Can you hear it purring?
Leaving the garage to go find some tall grass!
See ya!
And they call this work!
Maybe I should have packed a lunch?
