Which Transformer Are You?

Take the Transformers Quiz
You are 69% Bumblebee!
Bumblebee
As an Autobot spy, Bumblebee is the ultimate robot in disguise. What he lacks in size and strength, he makes up for with courage. He enjoys the company of humans and would do anything for his Earthly friends.
Like Bumblebee, you are good by nature. But beware because mischievous thoughts sometimes tempt you. You want to be a leader and show some promise, but you have much to learn. In addition, you use technology when you need to, but you do not embrace the latest trends.

Christmas Wishlist

I rarely get to see things that I really really liked. More often than not, I'm such a stingy person that even most of my clothes are gifts from others, just a few were bought with my own money and they were mostly because I badly need them (like office clothes and all).

But here are some of the stuffs that I'm currently craving for:

1. Lacoste Hot play for men (nice citrus scent)

2. Any techie stuffs: but here are some examples

a. Mac notebook: a friend told me that instead of buying the usual one, just buy the titanium one.

b. an iPod and a Sony PsP (slim one)

c. a palm pilot, whatever brand it is , I'm happy

d. hmmm again, whatever techie stuff

3. Of course, a car. I really get pissed off when I see kids my age driving a BMW. bitter bitter me.

... yeah I know, they're really expensive. The most realistic would be just the Lacoste hot play.

Taiwan Trip

I still don't have all the pics but here are some... and yes that's my bathroom on the background. My room was really cool and the bathroom was all glass. It was kinda freaky seeing the shower directly from the bed, thus it was such a good thing that I shared the room with no one. hahahaha!

I flew in and arrived in Taiwan before lunch. Checked in at Grand Victoria Hotel. It was fairly new, designed in such a modern style, minimalistic and posh, modern victorian. The chair in my room was clear plastic that looked liked glass. The bathroom was all glass... freaky, but cool. It had an automatic drop down blinds that covers up the whole bathroom glass wall, so 'twas ok. hahaha!

Meeting day. Nothing much to say. Toxic. Nosebleed. Too much information. hahaha!
But night time was different. We had our Hub night and the theme was Taipei Rock. Since Nathalie and I were new comers from the Philippines we had to have our share of a presentation. We sang like 5 spliced songs from Highschool Musical (the 1st one), with the movie presentation as shown on the before post.

Another whole day of meeting... again... nose bleed.
But we did rode the ferry's wheel on top of a mall. It was so big it took us almost half an hour just to get back to the bottom part and back again.

15 November 2007

We went to this place where they make glass arts. As usual, first actiity was the boring part, HISTORY. Didn't listen much. Next was a demo on glass making. They showed each step from getting the liquid glass thingy, to blowing bubbles in it, to rotating it to make it look like a wine glass, and to twisting it finalizing it to become a colored plate. ASTIG! Another activity was to design our own glass. I ran out of ideas so I just painted the theme of our meeting, Taipei 101 with Asia written across.
Afterwhich, the whole group was divided into three depending on your choice of place to hang out. (1) Taipei 101, (2) Museum, and (3) Villa 32 - a spa place... I chose the Museum, which most of us did. When we saw the brochure of Villa 32, we wished we could've chosen that instead. Our big boss, who also chose to be at the Museum, changed her mind in split seconds and went for the spa experience. As for me, all I saw in the museum were ceramic plates, jade thingys and whatever historical stuffs. Darn!

Another trip...

Tomorrow I'll be flying off to Taiwan. Another Trip yeah! But somehow I'm worried and have this weird feeling in my tummy (and I'm not even having LBM hehe). Why? After 7 months of working for this new company, (just transfered last April), I have this feeling that people are already assessing my performance. And its killing me. I know I can't please everyone, but these are some of those instances where I would just want to back out, though I never did once in my life (for any endeavor that I've ventured into).

Basta, I'll update nalang by the end of the week. Zaijian!

Getting over the bad things... counting all that's good

I got hit on the head and realised that its not worth my time to sulk and be miserable about life. I've stopped blogging even before I actually started, but now, I'm back. Somehow, I've learned how to deal with the pressure at work, the pressures in life... well the list goes on but let's not dwell on them, but instead let's celebrate life.

Let me first count all the good things that I've taken for granted before...
1. I've got tons of work. This would only mean that I have something to feed myself and myfamily. There are a lot of people trying to look for work, but couldn't find one. Though there are times when I feel like I don't belong to where I am right now, or at least in this kind of work that I do. The only reason that gets me going on is that somehow I know that God placed me here. Things just fell into place without me planning it. So I guess the only way that I can be fruitful in whatever I do is to acknowledge Him in all things I do. I don't know where I am going, but knowing that God knows where to put me gives me peace.
2. I've got lots of bills to pay. I have this organizer where there's a divider containing one envelope per section. Each envelope would have a label that reads all the things that I have to set money aside for. Each would give a bid dent on my savings but still I try to look at what each dent means. One envelope would read Phone bills, which only means that I have the "convinience in communication". Another would read Jay and Jet to which I place an amount for their school tuition fee. This got me to realise that I am blessed with the means to help my brothers in getting a good education, a priceless treasure one parent or...

to be continued... my partner is calling me

July 10 - Mah Burdey!

Happy Birthday!

Yes, 'twas my birthday last week. Unfortunately, I spent my birthday working. I had to stay in a hotel, far away from relatives. Good thing, I had one of my colleagues to accompany me on this trip. She was kind enough to inform the hotel crew of my getting older and demanded... yes demanded that something must and should be prepared for me. 'Twas kinda wierd as it seems that the hotel sounded like it wasn't used to greeting its guests (on any occassion unless they reserved a function room for a party or something). But like I said, my friend was very determined and demanded that a cake be sent to my room by 7:00 am. (check out the cake, pure black native chocolate, or at least that's how it tasted... yuuuummmmm!).

We celebrated my birthday, though we were working, by eating... no, make that globbering some food. haha! A day before, we went to Golden Cowrie in Cebu. I wasn't able to take pictures so I'll just borrow some from wordpress.

The restaurant served it with a very unusual plate. It was kind of made of capiz (white sea shell)with a golden cowrie printed on top, but it wasn't cut out like a soup bowl or would have a reservoir for liquid food. It was plain flat which I first mistook for a placemat rather than a plate. Then they would place a newly heated banana leaf on top of the capiz plate. It was a new experience... and it was great! The food was delish! But I did wish we could've ordered more so that i could have tasted more dishes. I guess there could still be next time.

BTW, I'm now 24!!!!!!!!!

Till next ish!
