Alone with my thoughts.

Post from Cornell today. They've received my admissions coupon, the thing I sent them saying YES I WANT TO GO YOUR UNIVERSITY! Registered my NetID and uni mail account and all.

Only after Kenny and Chang said it did I realize that I'm officially in Cornell now! It was indescribable; with that letter, I'm already a part of Cornell, before I even leave Malaysia Strange feeling.

But that's not the only thing. Sure I'm glad that I'm going there, but there are other feelings mixed into it.

The website has a nice fat timer, "Countdown to Cornell: 100 days, 6 hrs, 14 min, 27 sec".
I'm leaving in just over a hundred days! Suddenly it seems way too soon. All the UK peeps are leaving in late September. A month with them that I'm missing.

After SengTheng and Ying Xian showed me their future homes in London, I realized how far away USA actually is. They have a 15 minute walk between them, I've got a 15 hour flight to either. May's gonna be staying around there too! Probably many other CHSians, PE2 fellas and councilfolk too. UK and Aus is being colonized by Malaysian students (CHSians in particular ;p), but USA is on the opposite extreme D: I wouldn't mind having a coupla close friends around the corner. A sinking feeling of loneliness sets in (it'll be gone by morning hah.)

Don't give a shit about Jian though, he'll still be at his gay school for the next year :D

The people in Malaysia; family, KS and the CHS team.. Bah. 2am is an emo time of day.

On the plus side, I can't wait to see how life is there. From what I've heard and read so far, it looks amazing! I promise to update regularly once I'm there, so you folk don't forget me too quick >:O
