{Smores!}

Smores with friends!
One of our favorite times of year, it is warm enough to go outside but not too warm that you are dying and want to jump into the nearest body of water.

{Wicked!}

We took the older boys to see Wicked...
They were very excited because they got to skip out on half of school and we went downtown and  went to the matinee.
They did pretty good for their first LONG play, and really liked the story line and music.

I sure love this cute story and the message of friendship...

{Cub Scout!}

Thatcher is a cub scout!!

I don't really know if I was fully prepared or ready for this whole knew world of scouting, but being a mom of 3 boys I better get used to it!

He sure does look cute in his shirt!

{Two Months Old!}

This little cute bug is now two months old!
He is smiling, laughing, holding is head up, and sleeping a lot better now that we have his
reflux under control.
He was a total champ at his 2 month appointment and did great during his vaccinations.
He loves his bath time and loves to snuggle with mom and dad.
He is such a good baby and so sweet.
We remark almost daily at the incredibly sweet spirit he has brought into our home.

He is now 11 lbs. 4 oz. and 23 inches long

{Tate's Blessing}

We blessed Tate the day after Thatcher's baptism on March 24th, so that the family that was in town could attend both events.
It was a wonderful day and Todd gave Tate such a beautiful blessing.

We had a little get together with close friends and family at our home after church to
celebrate Tate.
We feel so blessed to have him in our family!

The cake...
Tagg took a nice ol' chunk of fondant out of it just before we left for church...yeah I was ticked. Ha ha ha!

Todd and I with our Tate...

This boy couldn't have looked any sweeter in his little blessing outfit...

{8 is GREAT!! --- Thatcher's Baptism}

 We are SO incredibly proud of Thatcher for choosing to be baptized and to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Before Thatcher turned 8 Todd and I had the privilege to dust off our old missionary discussions and our memories and teach Thatcher each Family Home Evening one discussion to help prepare him for this very important step of baptism.
It was a special and neat experience for us as a couple to sit side by side and teach our son what we often taught as missionaries 10 years ago.
It was so very meaningful to us.

Before Thatcher's important day, we went to the Dallas Temple and had some
pictures taken of Thatcher.  It was a beautiful spring day, and as I walked Thatcher around the temple grounds and watched him pose in his new suit, I became quite emotional!
Right before my eyes I saw my 8 year old looking very much like a missionary and realized he has just 10 short years in our home before he leaves for his mission.
Where has the time gone?
I could not be more proud or love this handsome, kind, good hearted, smart, curious,
loving boy anymore...and I am so grateful and feel very blessed that I get to be his mom.

Thatcher was baptized on his birthday, March 23 2013.
We had a lot of family there supporting him, which means so much to us.
The baptism was beautiful and it was such a very special day for our family.

After the baptism we had a little party for Thatcher to celebrate his baptism and also his birthday with family and friends.
It was a wonderful day and a day I hope Thatcher will always remember.
