oh dear...

It's starting. I'm officially living in a fraternity. Zack is now asking for "ball" and pointing to the tv.

This means he wants to watch basketball.

Ewwwwwwwwww.

I guess I better get used to this. :(

my little fish

Here are a few things we have been up to lately:

1) Zackary has started swimming classes. Pretty much we just get in and float around for thirty minutes, but it has helped him learn to move his arms and legs in a swimming motion. And it does wonders for my pregnant body. Really. It's like I have no belly at all.

2) And speaking of belly, here is me at about 28 weeks. Keep in mind that that was almost three weeks ago so I'm sure I'm bigger now. I feel big. Really, really, really big.

3) The most recent accomplishment of Zack. He has learned to climb up the hard ladders! I'm sure some kids master this way before he has, but Zack has never been much of a climber. I have always been grateful for his non willingness to climb. It takes everything in me not to hover while he goes up this thing.

This boy loves the slide. He goes down it saying "weeee!!!" and then says it for everyone coming down after him.
4) We went through a drive through safari that is about 20 min away from where we live. It's totally random, but really, really cool. There are monkeys, kangaroos, tigers, lions, bears, baby bears, baby monkeys...zebras, camels, hippos, rinos, deer...lots and lots of animals. Most are just running around, except for the ones that will kill you. Those are in cages. They even have a petting section where you can pet baby goat, pigs, and kangaroos. It was fun. Here are a couple pictures from my seat:

Check out the tigers "playing". haha. Looks like there might be a baby tiger soon!

Zack had fun. Here he is on the way home:

Ugh...

The most frustrating part about being pregnant for me is the names. I've been so set on the name Brody. We have not even been looking at other names or considered other names. But then one came to me the other day and I can't get it out of my head.

William. And call him Will.

So, I guess the name is Will.

I don't know why I all the sudden love this name. I'm still mostly sold on Brody, but I can't get it out of my mind. Maybe for the NEXT boy?? Todd likes Brody the best so we will still most likely go with it, but this is so hard!

Mostly, babies just turn into whatever you name them so it's really not that big of a deal. But I want to get it right. I love the name Zackary more and more every day, and I want to be the same way with this one. Guess we will have to see what he looks like when he comes out!

****UPDATE!!!****
Todd came home with a name today and it's probably the ugliest name I've ever heard!!! Bode. Like Bow-Dee. Ewwww. So we are compromising and sticking with Broden Kurt (Brody). End of story. Because there is no way in heck I'm going with Bode.

Sorry if this is your name of the name of someone you love, but admit it, the name really, really sucks.

Happy Easter!!!!

Happy Easter! This will just be a picture post so enjoy!

To get it over with: Me at 26ish weeks. I can't remember when we took this. Pregnancy brain has been a real issue with this one. :)

Week of Easter Celebration!!! We started it off by getting this little number for the Zackman. He LOVES it. Was going to get the cool bike you could push them on, but he wants no help at all, so this worked! And it was super cheap. Great deal.
Zack's gang of friends. They had an Easter egg hunt (his third one will be today...), colored eggs, ate yummy cupcakes, and destroyed the house. It was a great week.
This morning:
Zack finding his basket.

Zack enjoying his basket.
Then we got him dressed up and took pictures. He's at the perfect age to cover his face up instead of looking at the camera, so this was a real challenge. We only got a couple good shots.:(
The cutie I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner with every day. Here is his "Oh, no!" look.
New favorite place to sit on laundry day.
Lastly, the corn I found up his nose the morning AFTER we had corn. Super gross, I know.
