As my days blend together...

I realize they are all vastly different, yet pathetically the same (yes, I stole that from John and Kate Plus Eight). Everyday I wake up and spend about ten minutes trying to remember what day of the week it is. There are still two more weeks until school starts back up, and our little family is no where near having a schedule. Every time I think we have one, Zack decides to have an all-nighter. Good thing I got straight A's last semester, because I'm pretty sure this next one is shot. On a good note, Zack is one month old next week! This is exciting because:
1) That's one less month he is a newborn, which means he will be getting exciting soon.
2) I have not accidentally killed him like I did every single plant we owned before him. (2 ivy, 3 bamboo, a rose bush, some plant we got at Christmas, and another one we got when we were first married. Plus all the spice plants Todd tried to grow.) This means that ANYONE can have a kid and they will survive.

Sorry all these posts have been about babies, but I have nothing else going on right now. Oh! I did start to read Harry Potter for the first time. I just finished the first book. If anyone has the other ones and they live close by, can I borrow them? Thanks!

Life as a mom/person with a child

I'm still not used to the name "mom", so I'm just going to refer to myself as a person with a child until the name doesn't sound so foreign. To sum up this life, it's pretty easy. Of course, I've had my mom here doing everything for me (I've changed a total of like 2 diapers...), but I must say I have a very easy child. So far. Hopefully things don't change to much! Todd is the best dad in the whole world. He just stares at little Zack for hours shoving his finger in his hand (he loves to feel the little guy squeeze his finger...).

Here are more pictures of Zackary. Expect only pictures of him for a little bit since I'm still working on getting my fabulous body back, and no one cares to look at us anymore since we have a kid.

Also, daddy Todd is working for the city which consists of mowing, shoveling dirt, and other things that make him smell not so good. But, it does build his muscles and is a perfect one month job before school starts next month. And, it's Todd's last semester! I still have one more, but the end is in sight.

Here is Zack all cuddled up in Todd's old baby blankets. So peaceful...
Zack with Grandma Sweeney trying to talk to her.
In the swing that Grandma Jackson bought him. He loves it!
