SS card challenge

This is the last weeks color card challenge for SS.  I guess it's my last for SS, because I've been kicked out for various reasons that I don't understand.
Anyways, it was a color challenge with your basic blue, green, brown, and orange. The stamps are from Danelle Johnson and LRL Designs and the embossing powder is Cappucino from Old Town Crafts.  The little girl is colored with pencils.
the color challenges are a little tougher than they look, because there are certian colors that you just don't use until a challenge comes up (sort of like colors that you just don't wear).

SS card challenges

I've kind of gotton lackadaisical on posting challenges from Simply Scrapping, so here are three card challenges for this month.
The bottom one is a sketch challenge from week one, the middle one is a distress challenge, and the top one is a picture challenge.  We had to interpret what the picture brought out in us and this is what I came out with.
It's amazing the differences on everyones interpretation of the same picture!  Hope you enjoy them and please leave comments (I love hearing what people think of my work).

March Color Challenge Week 1

This challenge is a color one for Simply Scrapping.  Instead of doing a card or l/o, I did a b-day gift bag for my daughters friend.  The paper is handmade (not by me), flowers-Prima, jewel-MLB, rub-ons-MSE!, & misc. stickles, ribbon, and bead trim.  The middle pic is the back of the bag and the last one is the inside of the tag.  This is another one I am not sure of, so I will post it under a poll, so please let me know what you think of it-thanx

Sketchy Sat. Challenges

Here are two more Sketchy Sat. Challenges.  Both are just following l/o designs. The top is more of my nieces 4th b-day and the bottom is my other niece last year.

March2010 Embellish It Challenge

Another challenge from SS.  This one was to use certain number of each embellishments.  The brown cs is Bazzill, and front paper is Sue Skeens.  The cutout embellishments are Tim Coffey's die cuts from K & Co.  they are the coolest things yet.  You get both both cardstock & acetate cutouts with a mix of 65 in a pkg.  I just love them!!

SS Challenge

These are weeks two & three Simply Scrapping Challenges.  Both were following a l/o design.  The week three l/o was also featured on the SS website.  The pics are of my nieces 4th birthday party in Feb.  Boy will she rake it in when she gets older and gets b-day presents and Valentines Day presents from her bf or hubby at the same time.

SS card challenge

For theis one we had to match colors.  I really like the way this one came out.  The papers are from MME.  The small flowers I made using a med. petel punch w/stickles for the center.  The phrase was stamped w/Tim Holtzs' distress powder in Peeled Paint and the edges were done in the same color of ink.  Let me know what you think..

Merry Chirstmas card

More card challenges.  This one is a weekly challenge for Simply Scrapping.  It's following the layout w/a twist.  The twist on this one(although hard to tell) is using either black or white as bg paper & two other papers(either plain or patterened).  Mine is white-I promise. I went crazy with the distressing, using ink, stickles, and embossing powder.  The little "dots" are polymark paint.
