Bo Bunny challenge

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 Card Sketch Challenge Day

Dee is one of our many talented go to gals for sketches and worked up a fantastic card sketch for this week's challenge!

Here's a short note from Dee about the sketch...

The star is the 'embellishment' and the lines were meant to show 3 different papers...but interpret the sketch as you'd like...as always.

Here's my interpretation.  The card base paper is Bazzill, striped is Bo Bunny's "Shabby Princess", and the purple is scraps.  I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added stickles to bring it "up front".  Whinnie & Piglet (from All Night Medias "Disney Collection" were stamped on scraps, colored with colored pencils (some day I will be coloring with Copic markers), cut out with decorative scissors, and edged with stickles.

April 9th, 2010

We are! In fact, we can’t wait to take the lid of our April Release to show you all of the goodies! First things first, this Release Week Challenge is all about…. .TWINCHIES! What’s a twinchie you ask? It’s a 2 by 2″ little work of art that loves to take center stage on your card! And that is what our Release Week Challenge is all about. To take part, all you need to do is make a 2 by 2″ segment the focal point on your card.
For the paper is used MME "Fall In Love" as the card & Creative Imaginations "Elegance" line as the background.  The stamp is All Night Media's "Disney" collection and colored with pencils.  A corner punch and stickles were added (as usuall) for the bling.

SS card challenge

This is the last weeks color card challenge for SS.  I guess it's my last for SS, because I've been kicked out for various reasons that I don't understand.
Anyways, it was a color challenge with your basic blue, green, brown, and orange. The stamps are from Danelle Johnson and LRL Designs and the embossing powder is Cappucino from Old Town Crafts.  The little girl is colored with pencils.
the color challenges are a little tougher than they look, because there are certian colors that you just don't use until a challenge comes up (sort of like colors that you just don't wear).

cards

Here's a couple of cards I made last week.  The top one is cutouts, that have become one of my favs. They are from Tim Coffey by K&Co.  Besides these types of cutouts, you also get clear acetate ones.  The card for this one is from K & Co.The bottom card I made for my sisters b-day last week, but was in the hospital, so I never got to send it :( .  She said it was ok not to.  I felt bad.   The card paper is "Wisteria" by Basic Grey and the stamp is called "Silly Sally" by JLR Design (I think that's what it said-eyes are starting to go, too!)  It's really cute, anyways.  I cut it out and glued it to a border stamp by the same co.  The border paper is "Wisteria", too.
