Hi! My name is Tara, I own this blog. I have been ignoring it, I'm sorry. But for real we have been up to so much it has been ridiculous!
We bought a new house, then we listed our house for sale - have you ever tried to show a house that has 3 little kids living in it??!?! KILL ME! But God was gracious and provided a buyer within a month and so we now live in the new house. WE started BSF - love it. I teach in the toddlers class, so cute. We have a little story time with them, song and scripture and then we pray over each child. I mean for real it is just adorable. The boys are going to school on Thursdays and I try to get a handle on the crazy that is our lives right now! So I will get back to blogging - at some point!

Joyful, Joyful - We adore thee!
Our church has started a new capital campaign! We are remodeling the auditorium (which is a little happy/sad because I got married in that auditorium)!! We are doing it debt free, which I LOVE - what better way to teach God's principle of not being a slave to two masters than by not having 2 masters. So to get everyone involved the children's ministry sent home banks for the kids to collect change (their money is specifically for the new baptistery - again LOVE since (by their own choice, someday) this is where they will be baptized!) Ok but they aren't messing around check out the kids "banks"
We are working on how God wants us to be a joyful giver and how the money that God lets us borrow is not ours so when we use the money it should be to glorify God. So far we have counted the change in their piggy banks and moved it over, we shook the banks and listened to the fun sounds, we talked about God's money and we talked about a new church. And suggestions on other ways we can teach giving joyfully will be more than welcome!

MDF
I'm in a weird mood - so today's MDF is just a bunch of hodge podge that I have excellent reasons for wanting!
I REALLY NEED this for our new house, only I really don't NEED anything and in all honesty what would I fill it with?
Ok maybe I would put these in it...
And I would for sure where this dress while I am putting away my dishes and cooking in my new kitchen!!
And after I have finished all of my wifely duties I would completely relax in this chair!

We did it and we haven't missed it yet! We cut cable. Gone, adios, vaya con dios, ciao, arrivederci - you get the idea. We decided a while ago to get rid of it not just to cut down on unnecessary costs but also to cut down on out tv habits. Well on Monday it went and we are doing great. Anything we don't get Dwight can stream through our computer to the tv for free (like my new OBSESSION, Real Housewives of New Jersey)! How fun is that? Now the boys watch Qubo or PBS kids and they don't mind at all - side note: we were watching Arthur yesterday and the sister talked about how she was using tarot cards to determine what tickets to buy for a concert, ummm I have a problem with that. Back to the main point, cable is gone we are watching less TV and the boys are spending more time playing with their toys and each other.

MDF (Million Dollar Friday)
So if I had a million dollars today I would probably blow it all on house stuff! Like these 2 amazing beds - be still my heart they are gorgeous!
They are both from Z Gallerie - click here for the one on top and here for the one on bottom.
And then if I had an amazing bed I would NEED new bedding. Not sure I could convince Dwight of the greatness of this but I just love it.
How cool are these nightstands - they don't match the beds or bedding above but I feel like I could sell Dwight on their coolness.

Something else that must go..
We are selling this too!
(note: tree in the front is no longer there)
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath piece of the American dream is up for sale! Can you stand it? I LOVE this house, I brought all 3 of my babies home from the hospital to this house. Dwight, literally, carried me across the threshold when we cam home from our honeymoon. I'm sad but excited about God's new opportunities for us.

For Real
It has been so crazy around here lately. We went on a quick trip, I've been cleaning out closets, gearing up for the start of BSF, and parenting!! Here's a small review of what's been going on since Sunday..
This guy and I went to ACU to see cousin Em and opening chapel!! Scout thought he was so cool - "sneaking" into the girls dorm, such a rule breaker.
Of course we stopped by a few spots to reminisce - my old mailbox!
The GATA fountain. Scout wanted to play in the "water park."
Then we got our seats!
After chapel we went to lunch and then headed over to see where Aunt Abby works - she's big time!
While we were gone my in-laws kept the littles (you know, little brother and sister). But since we have been back Liza has been chowin down on tons of bananas with oatmeal mixed in and loving her highchair!
Oh and now so sad I am selling my car :( we have outgrown it but I couldn't let it go, its apart of me (which is another topic for another day) so sad!!

MDF
I have less than 45 minutes until Saturday so I wanted to get this posted. I found soo many cute things but this might be my last clothing post for a while - next week will be housewares that I am obsessed with! But until then enjoy some of my favorite finds!
Ok these lean a little on the stripper side but seriously they are amazing - and if you wore them you would for sure be a high class stripper!
How could you not love this little sheath dress? Its a twist on the conservative tweed and it just rocks for an after 5 event.
Love, Love, Love the color combo and the shape of this dress and is this neckline just too cute??
I am just wanting a party to go to and wear this dress. Fun black or gold heels and you are set - the stripes are classic and the shape is timeless and really there are very few body types that this dress wouldn't work for.

And then there were 5 or 12 - whatever..
Today 2 of our friends came over to play! So we all packed up and went to my sister-in-law's house where we were joined by sister and her kids!! There were TWELVE KIDS and the oldest is 6!! We are crazy.

Awesome!
So I have never been shy about the fact that I own/wear/adore Spanx. Come on Gwenyth Paltrow and Jennifer Garner wear them so I'm in good company. But when Dwight showed me this I think it might have pushed me over the edge - I'm dying! DYING! How hysterical.
