GrAnDpA's LiTtLe BuDdY. . . . .

Hadlee has turned in to grandpas little helper.  Anytime she sees grandpa in the fields she runs out to help him.  They enjoy going for 4-wheeler rides, tractor rides, picking out rocks, and tinkering with the equipment

Lindyn was lucky enough to go out on this adventure!
I am so happy we moved back to Gunnison for reasons like this.  I love that my girls have such great relationships with their grandparents and that they will continue to grow.  These are the kinds of things I remember growing up with my grandparents.

HaLlOwEen 2012. . . . . .

Halloween was SO fun this year!
These pictures were before the elementary carnival.  Hadlee had a last minute change cause she couldn't find her fairy wings and so she decided to be a nurse.  My mom made this costume in relief society about 30 years ago.  Aubrey used it when she was 4 also.  We got so many compliments on her costume.
Lindyn as a fat chicken, Hadlee as a nurse, Kadence as a witch, and Aubrey as a pirate
For preschool and Halloween Hadlee decided to be Dorothy

AuBrEy TuRnS 10!!. . . . .

I can't believe Aubrey is 10!!  The years have flown by SO fast and she is growing up right before us!  She is turning into a beautiful young lady!

If you can't tell her favorite color is lime green.  She got a styling chair for her generation doll
Lime green slippers
And a desk for her bedroom
Lindyn even liked the desk

When she blew out the candles the powder sugar went everywhere
For her birthday party we had a movie night at our house.  We had a concession stand with lots of treats, popcorn, and pop

All the girls getting their goodies!

What a bunch of silly girls!

Super cute girls!

PrOjEcTs I'vE bEeN wOrKiNg On. . . . . .

I have been working on a few projects for the house
This headboard used to be my parents back in the 70's, I think
We painted it and glazed it and it turned out so cute!
We put it in Aubrey's room and it works great with her new queen bed
I forgot to get a before picture, but here is the mirror painted, before being glazed.  It was the same ugly brown as the headboard.

All glazed! I love how it turned out.  We got the same paint and glaze as our kitchen cabinets so it all matches.  But what I love the most about this mirror is that it was my grandparents.  It was part of their bedroom set and I remember it hanging in their bedroom ever since I was a little girl.  The mirror has a date stamped on in from 1954

I made this wreath that I found on Pinterest, it turned out super cute!
