Cabin Trip

This is our Christmas picture for everyone.

Sorry we were lazy this season.

We'll get you next year.

We received about 10" to 12" of snow.

We picked up a hitch-hiker on Young Rd.

Just on top of the rim there was a frozen
lake where people were out having fun.
So we stopped to enjoy it too.

What's New!

Kylee went to Hawaii about a month ago and I am trying to get her to put a group of pictures together for the blog. Until she does... here are some pictures from the last month.

Dress Up!

Daddy gave in and bought Ashton's B-Day gift
2 months early. Oops!

Priest Trip to Havasupai July 25-28, 2007

Early Thursday to start the hike.

This is the first glimpse of the falls as

we were hiking to the camp ground.

Havasupai Falls

(Thursday before the flash flood)

Friday morning during breakfast we were

warned that in 15 min. a flood would be coming.

After the flood - a lot more water and a little dirt.

Moony Falls

Down the way from Moony Falls,

there was a sweet rope swing.

That night it rained and we had to make

a quick shelter out of the picnic table.

This is my perspective as I was sleeping.

Tight squeeze, yet cozy?

Saturday morning (2am) Indians were hollering

to everyone making sure that we were on high ground.

All the rain caused another flash flood.

We decided to pack up and leave at that time.

The water almost took the bridge it was so high.

The foam is from the dirty water and the falls.

This is at the top when we are done with the hike.

Beautiful hike!

They had this sign at the top warning

against flash flooding. Too late.
