So I've been working on my "catch up" post from the last couple of months and I'm trying something new so it's taking a while...plus I have a million pictures so that takes a while too. So I thought I'd do an update post of our little miss Emma in the meantime.
To say the least Emma is a little jabber jaw. She is constantly gibbering in her own little Emma language. It is simply adorable :) And she has quite the vocabulary of real words too. These are some of the words she says (and understands the meanings of): Hi

No (this is one of her favorite words, unfortunately...)

Hot (she says this whenever we get in the car)

Bite (as in 'I want a bite of that')

Water (she really says 'wa-wa'...close enough though :)

oh and she can also say Emma! She says it whenever she wants something...it's so hilarious.
Everyday I am amazed at how much she learns and comprehends. It is so fun to watch her explore and experiment with things. She is such a busy bee - always on the go. I love it. She has also gained quite the obsession with books. She could have me read to her for hours. Of course it never lasts that long because I can only handle reading 'Ten Apples Up on Top' and 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See' three or four times in a row. Anymore than that and I'm ready to throw the book out the window. She is such a doll and I am seriously the luckiest mom in the world to have such a beautiful little princess like Emma.
