Christmas 2010: In The Midst

In the midst of this Christmas season,
we were able to take a day to really celebrate ALL DAY.
First we celebrated Baby Jesus during Ellie's Sunday school program...
in her Christmas dress.
Then we got to celebrate Baby Jesus with Uncle Joel,
his girlfriend - Michaela,
and G & G Mathiesen.
We got to eat a very nice (kidless) lunch...
Then we ate a snack when the girls got up from their naps...
we read the Christmas story...
and then we opened PRESENTS!!!!
Ellie is EXTREMELY into clothes right now.
She immediately turned around and ran to put this on.
Anna LOVES any and all books!
This is one of our new favorite pictures of Anna.
We have a similar one of Ellie...

Then we were off to the Bethel Staff Christmas Party - Family style.
Wasn't kidding when I said we celebrated ALL DAY!!

Christmas 2010: The Beginning

So far our Christmas Season of 2010 has had it's ups and downs.
This roller coaster has been quite entertaining for the four of us....
We have our tree!
(It's already dying.)
The house and the tree are decorated!
(One broken ornament thus far.)
We have tons of snow!
(Our snow blower doesn't work.)
Ellie has started her "Baby Jesus" phase!
(Our tree has a major lean!)
Ellie just finished her Preschool Christmas Program at Morning Son!
(Tim and Anna stayed home sick.)

A Sledding Awhile Ago...

November 27th was a pretty snowy morning.
So after hearing, once again, that Anna had her "Piggy Pajamas" on...
and Ellie had gotten dressed all by herself...
we got in the car to take Anna on her first REAL sledding experience.
She was ready!
Ellie and Daddy went first...
and it went fabulously.
Anna and Mommy went next.
and it definitely did NOT go fabulously. Oops.
Ellie was having blast!
And Anna was DONE (even after a second try with Daddy).

Going to try again this weekend....HOPEFULLY!!!!

You ALWAYS need...

My good friend Jess and I went a quilt retreat
about a month ago...
You ALWAYS need at least one good weekend away...
and about a month to post about it.
This is Jess.
You ALWAYS needs to get at least one pic of Jess quilting.
This is the food table.
You ALWAYS need a picture of the food table.
You ALWAYS need a "hold the camera yourself" picture.
You ALWAYS need a picture that has a HUGE story behind it.
You ALWAYS need a picture of what you worked on...
to prove you did something productive besides talk.

Ellie's World #6

Last weekend I got to go to Grandma & Grandpa Larsen's house.
ALL. BY. MYSELF.
I got to bring my camera...This is ME!
This is Grandma!
This is my shoe.
I brought my purse...
my ring...
and I'm still wearing my Halloween costume.
(I wore it ALL weekend because Mommy wasn't here
to tell me I couldn't wear it.)
Grandma & Grandpa took me to Byerly's and
this picture of me with a sprinkle from my donut on my nose.
This is Uncle Jeremy & Auntie Ambar.
This is Ambar's coffee from Caribou.
Mommy growled when she saw my picture, I think she's thirsty.
This guy was at Byerly's.
Anna said "Icky" right away when she saw my picture.
I GOT TO GO SEE TOY STORY 3!!!!!!!!
This is me and Grandpa waiting for the movie to start.
The screen was as big as a HOUSE!
This is Rylee.
This is Chad and Grandpa.
Mommy growled again when she saw my picture.
She also said she was wishing SHE got to eat at Dave's.
I don't know who Dave is, but his food is yummy.
This is my NEW DRESS.
I twirl, and feel like a princess.
Look at my fancy shoes!
This is Mommy driving.
She was at a sewing thing while I was at Grandma & Grandpa's.
We drove home together.
This is my car tv.
