Post-a-palooza!!!

I finally caught up after a three day vacation in Fergus Falls.
I posted a lot.
Sorry, they don't even fit on one page.

I have 4 people waiting for me to get off the computer!!!!
Maybe I'll keep typing so they think I'm still working.

Ava's 1st Birthday Party!!!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY AVA!!!

Ava had a great time opening her presents.....

but Ellie had to try them all out.

Driving Home

Ellie discovered that when she holds her nose and says baby it sounds funny. Actually it's only funny for a couple minutes cause when you are in an enclosed space for 3 hours - a half hour of "baby, baby, baby...." makes you want to climb out the window.

This one is blurry but great.

She finally fell asleep. YAY!

Mathiesen Christmas

Ellie's first attempt to sing "Tiny Baby Jesus" with Grandma.

Every Christmas the Mathiesen kids would sing the song and do the actions. Pretty cute!

Summer and Ellie were full of hugs for a couple minutes.
Grandma got both grandbabies some babies. She also made the dolls some outfits and doll sized quilts and pillows.

Coffee with Great Grandparents

These are Tim's Mom's parents, Morris & Myrtle Larsen. They had us over for coffee while were up in Fergus on Friday. Joel & Marybeth Nordvedt were there with their son, Micah, too.

Joy's brother Nate and his wife, Debi were there and had given Ellie a baby. It was so nice of them! She loved it! Nate wanted to play with Ellie so badly but she needed her space. She'd play but he couldn't touch her! Nope, nope, nope!

Risk 2007

Every Christmas the Mathiesen men play Risk. It's the only time they ever play it, and I'll blessed to take part in my second game (therefore - second year).

Mary ended up being Joel's lucky lady for the game.

Gaylan was out of the game first.

Tim was fading quickly.

Joel was playing TOTALLY fair, and had made some supposedly bad decisions.......

SO JENNY WON HER FIRST RISK!!!! BOO-YAH!!!

Christmas day with the Larsens

Christmas Day we had Christmas with my side of the family. The only bummer was that the night of Christmas Eve Ellie threw up 3 times. We have to idea what caused it - no fever & no other symptoms. So that made her Christmas day rather slow because of being so tired - you can tell by all her BLANK looks in the pictures. Poor baby!

Christmas Morning

Ellie got Daddy a book to read to her and a sketch book

so that he can use his amazing skills for her to have in the future.

Ellie and Daddy got Mommy a pretty necklace.

This was a big talk on how to take care of it, before she'd give it to me.

The Christmas Bloopers

We had our traditional roast beef sandwiches for dinner christmas eve. She didn't like it much. Stabbing was way more fun. I think I'll try it next year.

Jeremy was taking our family pictures. It was impossible to get the little one to participate in a proper manner. So Uncle Jeremy was doing ANYTHING to get her to smile - thus taking the pictures whenever she smiled. This one is the best we got, but a little off.
