DIARY | Minimize

Since I'm starting this new live journey, it's high time to shed some baggage. Meaning, it's time to let go of having heaps of material things. I am a person who loves to shop and spend money on things that I feel that I want/need, but I always end up not using, or losing them. I need to stop this habit. I also buy when I'm angry or when I'm feeling a little low. I'm trying to learn the importance of a dollar and how to stretch it as far as I can, so I'm beginning to sell off  or donate some of the items that don't have purpose in my new life. Currently, my room is full of clutter and things that are simply collecting dust. I don't want that. It's just nauseating to look at. It's time to minimize my life, my room, and my closet.

DIARY | Be Realistic About YOUR Life

I am NOT happy. This is not the life I want to live. I want to change it, but I've been sitting on my butt for months, and years just wishing for change to automatically sweep in and make things better. I've only just realized that the only way I'm going to see change in my life is to make it happen for myself. If you want it really bad, you're going to have to work for it.

When you're unhappy about how your life is going, you are naturally going to want to blame someone for it. Your mother, your father, sister, brother, whoever. I did the same thing. However, you have to realize that these people do not live your life. They can't take control over your life and do the dirty work for you. The only person who can get in the way of making your life where it needs to be is YOU. It starts with YOU. You are the only person who has the power to stop the bad things that occur in life. You have to open your eyes and see your life for what it really is in order to start the process of changing things. If you aren't being realistic, or you're too busy comparing your life to the lives of other people, you're not going to see the change or results that you want in life. BE REALISTIC.
