We don't mess around.

So after we lost the sell of our first house, we were very saddened and disheartened at the process. We were set to close at the end of March when we found an issue with the roof and that led to finding that we would need to replace the roof. We didn't want to eat that cost and neither did the seller, so we walked away.

We were very disappointed in losing the house. Mostly I thought we wouldn't get another one and that made me very sad but we felt that it was the right decision to not buy that particular house. So with the 8,000 tax credit motivating us, we decided to look just a little while longer. And lucky us, we found a really cute little house that has already been updated right in our price range. We looked at it a couple of times, felt comfortable and made an offer. It was accepted so now we are set to close at the end of April! We are very excited!

So, in essence, we don't mess around when it comes to buying houses! Here are some pics:

Our day in a nutshell.

I woke up with Ezra crying that he only wanted Mommy and then stuck right beside me the whole rest of the day. He thought I was the bomb today.

Then when we were in the car Annika asked me if the clouds should say sorry when they cover up the sun. I said yes.

Then we went to look at a new house because our other house fell through. We were set to close in just two weeks. It was sad to sign the papers that meant we lost that house.

After that we went out to eat because we were too lazy to cook and Annika threw up chocolate milk all over herself. Fun times.

Then Ezra and I went on a walk while Annika and Jon played with play dough.

Then everyone went to bed.
