All I Wanted For Christmas
There was once a boy who happened to pass by a pet store one day. There was a dog on display that he could not take his eyes off. He was curious to check it out and maybe play with it for awhile. Though he knew he could not afford the dog but nevertheless, he played with it for a little while. It was a simple yet sweet looking dog. Simple, sweet looking dog?? Isn't that kinda rare?? Indeed it was but he knew he could not take it home because it was too expensive.
As Christmas was coming, all he wanted for Christmas was the dog. He worked really hard during the months before Christmas so that he could save enough money to buy it. He was back at the pet store hoping to get the dog before Christmas. But because it was Christmas, the price for the dog has gone up. The boy was saddened because despite his hard work, he still could not afford it. To him, that dog was a special one, one that is really different from any other dogs that he has seen and played before.
In the midst of the crowd, the shop owner happened to spot the boy as he sat there in the store not knowing what to do. The owner remembered it was the same little boy who came to his store a few months back to play with the dog. He knew the dog had a special bond with the boy because he could see how happy the dog felt every time the boy played with it.
Because all the owner wanted is for the dog to be happy with someone, he knew the boy was sincere and that he truly liked the dog. He allowed him to have the dog at no cost but with a few conditions.
1. Love her with all your heart, love her and her only.
2. Respect her and treat her like how she should be treated.
3. Keep her safe where ever you bring her to.
4. Enjoy your time when you are with her.
That was all he asked of the little boy.
As days turned into years, the dog soon passed on leaving the boy who once loved her dearly. Although she was no longer with him now, he could not forget the happiness she has brought him.

A Gift Like No Other
Christmas is just around the corner. Indeed it's the most wonderful time of the year because it's a time of giving, a time of celebration. Christmas to me is a season that's filled with sweet and joyous memories of friends and family..
As year goes by, i tend to realize it's more than just a time of giving and receiving presents..Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and as a reminder of God's grace for us. Just as we are all anticipating the gifts that we will receive from our friends and family every Christmas, the world was also waiting for a gift 2000 years ago.
A gift of hope and life to all mankind.

November Eleven Two Thousand Eleven
Everyday can be a special day to everyone but what makes today so special? Is it because of the perfect 11.11.11?
To everyone, it is 11th November 2011.
To some, it is 11th November 2011. Just an ordinary day.
To some, it is a special day for them, birthdays & anniversaries.
To some, it is when two become one.
To some, it is a day of mourning.
To some, it is just a special day spent with loved ones.
Even though 11.11.11 will never appear again, at least not in our lifetime. I am writing this to remind myself of how great God is and that He has a reason for everything that happens.

Because of you
I have been keeping this to myself for a long time now not wanting to write it out..but today has been one of my hardest days to go through, because of you..was looking at your pictures recently, having this silly thought of wanting to be standing far away just to have a peek on you..it's been so long now but i still miss you very much..I might seem happy with everything in my life but sometimes tears flow, because of you..
I still remember asking you about a gift you gave me..
"What was in your mind when you bought this? What will the 4 chinese characters mean if we did not end up being together?" You answered "Don't know le, i just choose only..will you still wear it as a necklace?" I've been wearing it for a year now because it was the only thing that both of us have one each..Although we might be far apart from each other now or even strangers, the necklace still brings me sweet memories of you..
I know whenever you read this, you would ask me not to think so much..but i'll ask that you would give me one day to cherish, because of you..
