Challenge #52

Hi all friends of TIME OUT!
Thank you everyone who took part in our 2nd Anniversary Challenge, we had a huge amount of entries! Don't forget to come back next Thursday to see if you are one of the winners.

The next fortnight we have a CASE With Your Own Twist Challenge for you. We are CASEing a very inspiring Dutch card maker Marjan from Marjan's Blog: she makes artistic, beautiful cards with stunning details. Let's meet Marjan!

Hello from The Netherlands! I feel very honoured to be a GD at Time Out challenges. I am married to Rob ( we are both teachers in primary school) and a mother of two adult children, a daughter and a son. We have one granddaughter of three and we adore her right to the tips of her sweet little toes. I have always loved creative things, have had all kinds of hobbies, from knitting and sewing to working with Fimo, do you remember that stuff? But working with papers and ink took over and lasted longer. I started with scrapbooking but gradually started making cards and nowadays that's what I like most. I like making someone happy with a handmade card. My style varies from rather CAS to shabby chic. I appreciate many styles but am not really into cute stamps, although I can see why other people do.

I hope you'll find inspiration when looking at my card, have fun!

What an inspiring, artistic card, I'm sure you'll all agree! You have so many possibilities here for CASEing staring from the flower theme, the colors, her layout and techniques. See Marjan's blog for all the details! Don't worry too much about the "Own Twist" -it can be anything from changing up the colors a bit to adding some own personal touches. The most important thing is to have fun!

Time Out Challenge #51 and our 2nd Birthday!

Hello to all!

Today TIME OUT is celebrating being 2!

Yes, we have been around for 2 years and we would like to thank you all for the support you have given us. We started this challenge with no idea if it would last past the first few months. We are over joyed that you have played along with us and helped us grow so much in the last 2 years. A huge Thank you for this.

We also need to thank our amazing Design Team-both past and present-who every challenge produce such inspiring projects.

So what is the challenge?

It's our theme challenge:

Easter and/or Spring with the optional technique twist of masking.

Time to celebrate both Easter and our Birthday!!

The winner of our challenge will get a $20 gift voucher. Plus we will do a random draw for those who twist with us by using masking on their project. The winner of this draw will get 2 standard sized ARTploration stencils.
