goodbye 2009

time: 1.40pm

This space has been left empty for too long. In between quite alot has happened, but since we are on the last day of the year, i guess its time to wrap things up.

2009 hasn't been fantastic. While 2008 was a year i wouldnt forget(because of its greatness), this year will become just another year. There were more downs than ups and i found myself struggling too often to place the pieces together.

So yes, im glad that 2009 is over. 2010 looks daunting because its time to leave school and get a job. Adulthood is officially on our shoulders. 2010 looks like a year of farewells too as we each take a step in different directions. Lots of people i'm going to miss, lots of things will be fondly looked back on as well.

Still, a new year means a new start. I'm not one to do resolutions. All I hope is that 2010 works out better than this year and that 365 days from now, i'll remember 2010 for being so bloody awesome.
