Abbey's Gradution
Porter didn't need any help with the refreshments, he had a cookie in had before any of us were even close to the table. And he snuck a second one after that.
Trampoline/ weekend
On Saturday the kids were so excited to go pick up our trampoline mat. And then antsy as we ran errands that they had to wait to play on it. Once we got home Tucker was to busy helping dad with 4-wheelers to jump though, kind of ironic. I got some fun pics of Abbey though, and Porter was sleeping much to his dismay.
Abbey sat down and just smiled for the camera.
That night we decided to have a cook out in our campground of a backyard, unfortunately I forgot to take pics. Our friends the Logan’s came over and the kids had so much fun playing and getting DIRTY. They even got a turn on the 4-wheeler. Porter Buck’s (they have a Porter too) smile couldn’t have gotten any bigger. Tim said the fun meter was how dirty they got, well they reached the limit.
Our little Porter got bounced to high and hurt his little ankle, but it’s fine now. We wrapped it up in a mini ace bandage and he walked just fine. By Monday he didn’t even need it. And I’m sure glad for that.
Sunday afternoon we went to Roy to visit Tim’s dad and Anthony came over too. The kids played outside and fed the horses watermelon rinds. Tucker ate 4 huge pieces of watermelon and then felt to sick to have any dinner.
blue from M&M's I thought they melted in your mouth not in your hands, you should have seen his hands. I berely got a pic he kept moving and my phone only likes still shots
Then we headed to Kaysville to sleep over at my parents’ house, it was late when we got there because of a freeway closer, sure glad that was the only reason.
I was helping Porter learn to add the filler words in his sentence i.e. of, is. After he was done I asked him a question and he said yes, well I repeated “yes” back to him. He looked at me and said “very good mom, very good” My mom and I laughed so hard. They learn everything we do; it’s so scary to think of sometimes.
We played with the Schleich cousins on Monday and went to McDonalds for lunch. It was something to do with all that rain. Porter did play in the gutter and had so much fun splashing and getting all wet of course.
Abbey finally warmed up to everyone about and hour before we left Monday night. She is so delightful and fun once she warms up, she just takes a long time for it to happen. To bad she doesn’t have a pre-heat button.

New set of brakes
Anything for you mom!
So when Tucker got home from school he rubbed my face, asked how I was feeling, and asked if I could walk (which I can) He said "we could serve you and bring you stuff." Meaning dinner. I chuckled. to which he responded " I would do that for you mom, I would do anything for you, mom." Well I had to blog that! it was so sweet, He can be my hardest kid sometimes but he is also so sweet and has ALWAYS taken care of me!!!
Good Night, Sleep Tight!
Before falling asleep he had time to draw all over his cute, sweet, innocent face!
Pantry
So when I was trying to decide what to have for lunch I remembered that I had luncheon meat and green peppers in the fridge. And I knew exactly what I wanted. A sandwich like I used to get in Logan at the Italian Place, it was a little dive in the back of a store. Too its no longer there. We used to save our money to go there, it was soooo yummy. I would go with Christina, Jenny, Erin and Lindsay. They had tons of fresh vegetables and would cook them on the grill with your meat and then add the cheese at the end. They would also grill the bun and add mayonaise, shredded lettuce and sprouts just before they handed it to you. Oh it was so good!!!! Tim and I have them in the summertime, yesterday's was the first of many. I hope our green peppers and tomatoes grow well so I can have more.

PAY DAY
Later in the evening the kids were doing the nightly pick up of "CRAP" off the floors while finished up dinner. Tucker rolls in (he was wearing his healys or whatever they are) and says "so mom ya know how you don't get paid for all the work you do around here all the time? well here is your pay" and he slaps 3 pennies that he found on the living room floor on the counter! Well it's a good thing he is 7 and not a teenager or it wouldn't have been "nice" it would have been hmm I don't know the right word but nice isn't it. So for all you other moms out there....all the work we do in a day is worth $.03 how does that make you feel?

"P"
Mud / 4-wheelers/ one last stitch
The kids were outside helping Tim move the 4-wheelers into the backyard and Porter got into some mud!!! I think the pics explain themselves. He was so mad that his shoes were covered in mud. I should have gotten a close up of them but he was a bit upset. I literally peeled the bud off of his pants, it’s more like clay so it was pretty easy, messy, but easy.
SATURDAY 17TH
Tucker thinks he is the COOLEST! He can drive the little 4-wheeler on his own. They had a few lessons today and he had so much fun!
We burned all the sticker weeds that were in the backyard, it looks so much better and now we don’t fear for our kid’s legs. We got the frame for the trampoline up and went and ordered a new mat for it, it’s a special size so they have to make it to fit. The kids were bummed that it wouldn’t be done today. We also put together a box and bought soil for our garden I’m excited I missed having one last year. Just when I really started to enjoy working in my yard and getting it how I liked it we moved. I really don’t want to spend a lot of money on a yard that isn’t mine so this will be nice (I think we care about it more than the landlords, so sad). We did plant some bulbs a while ago that we found a great deal on and they are starting to shoot up, the kids thought it was pretty cool that they are growing already.
......and now for THE STITCH
So I was washing Porters hair tonight and felt something poke me near the spot of his stitches. I thought it was strange since the scab has completely fallen off. So I rubbed my finger over it again and sure enough there was something pokey there. I leaned over to take a look and I could see a blue dot on his head near the scar. WHAT THE HECK!!!! Well... while in the bathtub is not the ideal time to investigate further, so I waited. I told Tim and he couldn’t believe it either. After the big kids were in bed I convinced him to sit on my lap, separated the hair the best I could since it’s so short and pulled out what I thought was a HUGE piece of , well I guess you’d call it stitching!!! I was expecting a little stub or something but nope it was pretty big, well Tim and I thought so anyway. It explains why Porter has said owie when it’s been touched still, I know it was probably habit and still tender but this was probably a culprit too. I’ve had hair slivers before and they really hurt so I can just imagine that this was painful until the end poked through. Sure glad it was easy to pullout! It really surprised me how long it was!
that's it on the right of the tweezers
