Eliza's first food- rice cereal. She has had absolutely no problem starting solids. She LOVES food! I'm still only feeding her a little rice cereal with fruit mixed in, once a day, but she knows when it's time and insists on it. When everyone else is eating dinner, I'd better have her dinner ready, too!
The other kids have had fun with this, too- they like to feed her, although I have to say that I definitely have more practice in getting the food to stay in her mouth!
I didn't think we'd ever use these baby spoons- they have Caillou on the handle, and came with a package of yogurt that we bought at Modelo (the Portuguese grocery store) in the Azores. I guess if she didn't get to live there, at least she gets to use the baby spoons we got there! :)
