Summer in Bloom

Well this week is hopefully a little easier for you all - we had some stunning creations for the Midsummer Night's Dream theme last week, but several of you said you struggled! The winner of our Magnolia chair stamp is Angel Drummer, congratulations Vicky! Please send me an email with your name and address and I'll get the chair stamp posted to you.

This week we would love to see you create an ATC featuring summer flowers such as roses, lilies, lilacs, summer daisies etc. The facts and figures for making an ATC are on the side bar and as long as you have used at least one Magnolia stamped image you can join in the fun with us. Here are the Design Team's creations for your inspiration, and this week we have some blooms to give away as a prize.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

This week we have the first of our 'Once a Month Guest Designers' joining us and setting the challenge .. .. so a big hello to Jacqui who is our guest for June, and also a thank you to her for donating the Magnolia chair stamp for a prize this week.

Jacqui says:

"I've been blogging now for around 2 months and been inspired by so many wonderful blogs that I've visited during that time, so you can imagine my surprise and pleasure when I was asked to be a guest designer for Tilda & Friends, the first blog I visited! I was asked to come up with a theme for the challenge and with the longest day of the year almost upon us my inspiration comes from my favourite Shakespeare play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm looking forward to seeing all your Midsummer creations."

To join in the fun with us, just create an ATC using at least one Magnolia stamp - the facts and figures for ATCs are on the side bar. You don't have to take your inspiration from Shakespeare's play, anything that reminds you of a mid-summer evening/night will be fine. And, if you would like to be one of our 'Once a Month Guest Designers' send me an email to anniejuk@yahoo.com with your preferred month and theme and if you have a little something you could offer as a prize.

Bits and Pieces

Thanks to everyone who took part in last week's challenge, we loved looking at all your ATCs and don't forget to pop back later to see who has won the little package of images from our DT member Leann.

The challenge this week is to use some of those bits and pieces of card and paper which we all have lying around on our desks. We would like you to make your ATC using bits and pieces which measure no more than 1" x 2" (2.5cm x 5cm) - we won't be measuring though!

The facts and figures for making an ATC are on the sidebar and as long as you include at least one Magnolia stamp you can join in the challenge and this week we have a selection of 6" x 6" papers to give away to one lucky entry!

Here are this week's Design Team ATCs for your inspiration and don't forget to check out their blogs for more information on how they made their ATCs.

The Sea Side Winner

And the winner of last week's goodies, the little shell embellishments and stamped images of Tilda, is - Amanda with her blog, Maddie's Creations. Congratulations Amanda, please email me with your postal address and I'll get the goodies off to you.

Give me Sunshine!

It seems that most of the UK has seen the sun at least once recently and the temperatures are finally starting to slowly climb so this week we want you to give us some sunshine! Be inspired by the summer and sunshine, be it in your images or colours, and please create an ATC for us - but don't forget to HAVE FUN!

The facts and figures for making an ATC are on the side bar and as long as you include at least one Magnolia stamp you can join in with the challenge.

Here are the talented Design Team's take on the theme - and this week one of our Design Team ladies is putting together a special little package of images to give away, so leave us a comment and link us up to your ATC and we will come and take a look! We are delighted to welcome Caz to the Design Team from this week. The winner of last week's images and shell embellishments will be announced later today, so don't forget to pop back and see if it was you!
