3 ways of differentiating ourselves in the mattress industry.

Hi everyone, ladies and gentlemen, and fellow Singaporeans,

It has been a while since I spoke about our existence to this interesting industry.

Many of my friends and fellow supporters have always asked me this hot burning question, "there are so many competition in this small industry, how would you compare and how can you differentiate from them."

As you all know, Singapore is the easiest place to set up a company, period.

The beauty is to spur people to try out doing something of their own, just like how start-ups are in every country, they are getting a little too commercialized and marketed to a point they are competing with one another on whom is the better marketed and designed item online.

Look at the above paragraph for a while, WHERE IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THE PRODUCT?

1. WHO TALKS ABOUT THE SUBSTANCE OF THE PRODUCT?
2. WHO TALKS ABOUT THE TRUE/REAL EXPERIENCE THAT SOMEONE HAS IN ORDER TO MANUFACTURE THE PRODUCT?
3. WHO ARE THESE BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHOM CLAIM THAT THEY ARE START UPS?
4. WHERE IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THE COMPANY AND WHAT DO THEY REPRESENT?

In Singapore, because we are small, and with the ease of obtaining goods from all over the world, so long as you get a nice running website, and a group of designers, you can easily make a mattress company.

There are a lot of "claimed" to be OEM companies, whom honestly are people whom came out from a big company and set up their own company and decided to start something of their own, but only cheaper then the parent company.
Hence these people are widely available online even on Alibaba, and it doesn't benefit the end product.

So back to the question, how does TILAM KING compare ourselves with these people?

Honestly we do not wish to even be mentioned or compared with those that are new in the market.

Tilam King is a 3 generation family business, that is re-branded by the 3rd generation.

The business model of the business is to allow people understand the ways of how we manufacture, and what we use to manufacture.

The components companies are prestigious and are all global companies, so are our equipment.




We bother to explain all the necessary substance of the product, and not how we market them, or work with some prestigious marketer, and or spend really big money on marketing when our targeted audience are really those that are trying to find something good. Period.

In my personal opinion, if you bother trying to spend so much effort to sell the product, the product already has a fault, where is the confidence of the product???

There you go ladies and gentleman, we answered our burning question on,

"there are so many competition in this small industry, how would you compare and how can you differentiate from them."

1. We are a 3 generation family business, re-branded by the 3rd generation.
2. Our business model is to explain about the product, and how we manufacture them, not all the fanciful nonsense that we do not need in life.
3. The fundamental of the product is strong because all the components and the equipment to make the mattress are all global prestigious companies.


We hope that we have kept this short and sweet for everyone. Making a great product has always been a challenge, if it was easy, why wouldn't all mattress feel the same? 

We made the answers easy but honestly there are a lot of skill set involved in making a simple product, the longevity and fundamental of the foundation of making is still key.

The Perfection of Passionate Manufacturing - Half a decade of Passion.

Dear Fellow Singaporeans, Ladies and Gentlemen,

"The Perfection of Passionate Manufacturing"

It had been an awesome 5 years, Half a decade. Seems to me that I just started all these 2 years tops.

In this 5 great years, I started TK, with the mindset of wanting to simplify the complicated mattress industry.

We then created 5 models, (TK Luxury Series, TK Premiere Series, TK Deluxe Series, Ergo Series and Hotel Suite Series).



We allow all our customers to know how we made them, and explained to them about real manufacturing know-hows, and why does it "seemed so complex" about how other brands market themselves.

This idea of being Honest was widely accepted. The idea of sharing Honesty and real insights made people wiser.
Hence we found our PURPOSE.

We now have 5 core values, (Integrity, Pride, Passion, Honesty and Value).
These reflects the way how we wish to operate our business and treat our customers.

Integrity because of how we manufacture our products.
Pride, how we feel about our products.
Passion, help customers to find the right one, not just the expensive one.
Honesty, to educate our consumers to see through all the Jargon to understand us.
Value, keeping prices low, with cheaper alternative to traditional marketing, because we believe good products speak for itself.

We are grateful to all our suppliers that backed us up with great bed frames and accessories to meet our customer needs. We assure you all that we are your best merchant in-terms of upholding reputation and probably the best service a merchant could possibly offer.

We have been very fortunate, we are able to have "the best components" , "the best equipment" to construct and built our awesome mattresses.

We are very lucky, we have BekaertDeslee to supply us beautiful fabrics. And for always remembering us when it comes to stock-lots :P (Stock-lots are awesome items when it is from an awesome company, because TK pays less for a better product :P, some of you might think why TK and not other bigger better companies? That's our magic.)

We got the most prestigious spring factory in China, they make the best possible springs in China, they use all American imported Leggette&Platt equipment "SPUHL" to make my springs. 

Our foam and Latex suppliers, are nothing but Legendary. They are the Unsung Heros, they are the like the Singapore Power to Singapore for uninterrupted power supply, but no ones ever credits them.  I was introduced by my spring supplier to such an incredible young man, we are of the same age. He made all sorts of foam where no one dares to do. #40 Density is the Elite number in our industry. No one except for the major players in the global space will use such high density foam. We have latex from a very beautiful company that specializes in nothing but just 1 product, Natural latex. They are notorious for their high prices, and limited number of SKUs, we are thankful to be able to get hold of them to allow us to have access of high quality natural latex layers for our TK Luxury Series.

This was a beautiful journey to complete. Now TK have all the best components any mattress maker can possibly dream of.

After having access to the highest quality components, the only thing that is left is high end machinery. This is very tough to achieve because of the sheer difference in price point for a similar spec-ed sewing head which can only be 2,000rmb and it can go as high as 200,000rmb. 
Imported machines are very limited and have huge premiums over the local ones, which have better after-sales service. However, a great craftsman or a chef can explain to you this, a knife is a knife to a person with no knowledge or expertise or which have no attachment or respect to the industry. But a good knife to a chef is like a life to everything that he prepares. How do I know? We use Porter's Tape masters from the USA to create all our awesome mattresses.
  

Yes, they are the most expensive, and most exclusive.
Our quilting machines are from Gribetz International. They are the finest quilting machine there ever is in this World we live in.

So, we now have the best equipment.


We hope to continue impressing people with our mattresses. We hope to continue this journey of organic growth. To me this is like an experiment. Who would have known that a company with such limited budget with marketing, can reach out so far, so long.

What we hope to continue doing what we truly believe.
We will always make a mattress that we ourselves will use,
we will always sell what we ourselves will use.

How to tell the difference between different mattresses? Based on looks and feel? Price?

This is a very difficult task when it comes into a traditional mattress shop, showcasing 20 brands, and over 300 models of mattresses.


Basically they all look like mattresses, some look more simple, some look more complex, but 1 thing surely that sets it apart, is the PRICE.



When you lay down on a simple one (which normally is thinner), it normally feels either very springy, or very firm, price wise, it always reasonably priced at $400 - 5600 depending on brands. As you can see the price range is huge. 
*****But the concept is that, the simpler the design, which normally is thinner, will be very springy, or firm.




Then you shift over to the medium thickness segment, the feel normally feels much more cushioned, hence more comfortable. They are normally priced between $1200 - $8000.
Medium thickness is normally the most popular, people then to buy this range of products because it is neither too firm nor comfy, good balance and also in a range of goods, this is the feel:price ratio which is comfortable for most.



Then now there is the Ultra Luxury segment, where everyone love and dream of owning...
This is the huge WANT segment.
Price range normally starts at $8000 - up to $100,000.
Who ever buys this will never know what they buy, they just do it because they can, and for bragging rights.

So now, we have identified this 3 tiers of Mattresses, and we know that the Ultra Luxury is really not important at all, so it brings down to 2 tiers, which is the basic and luxury range.


How does the term Basic come about?
We mentioned earlier that for the mattress to be springy or firm, the springs (core) will either be very soft or very firm. The core affects the mattress feel significantly because the top layer is thinner. This also means if the core is firmer, the mattress becomes firmer.

How does Luxury mattress differ?
When mattresses all look the same, how do people create a more comfortable mattress? All they do is to add thicker top layers. This is because springs give resistance, and comfort layers give comfort. Therefore, a more comfortable mattress will have more comfort layers on top of the springs.


But still why the huge price range?

Materials play a crucial role in any manufacturing process. There are good manufacturers, and there are those that just sell you a well packaged item that only look good. In this world today, because of competition, the situation forces certain people to do foolish things in order to make some money.

The best example is a usb/iphone charging cable, the box is normally more expensive then the cost of the goods, which is the cable that you need. But you are willing to pay up to $20 more because of a nicer box. The cable may look a little nicer, but the function is the same, it charges the phone and transfers data.

This is a problem even in the Mattress industry. There are way too many companies that do not even know how they get their goods done, where they source their components from, and the fundamental of their believes are wrong. In order to create a good product, you only need good materials. With-in the foam, springs, fabrics, latex, memory foam, etc, there are also quality differences.

Hence every company behind each component must be carefully selected to have an awesome product. If this is done so, the end product cost is way higher then an average one.

But here's the funny thing, in a business world, everyone shouts to say they have the best of everything, as a consumer it is so difficult to even understand what the company or the brand does.

This part is where I let you guys guess, trust your gut, there are too many people saying too many good things about themselves to a point it is almost pointless to even try to listen.

This article is specially created for all consumers to ask credible questions and it is very easy to see if the company respects mattresses or not. Most people end up buying stuff they do not know anyways, but to those that matters, I think the above is very informative for your mattress shopping.

How to PILLOW HACK? HOW TO HAVE THE ULTIMATE PILLOW!

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, supporters and fellow Singaporeans,

Finally, we are going to share something that will let you rethink about pillows.
Pillows: 
Believe: A highly complex product due to huge range of price point, and have different variants, hence the unlimited number of choices that complicates even the smartest person in the world.

Truth: A simple product that only have 2 parts of the construction. 
PART I: the proportion of soft and firm polyester fibers
PART II: the external fabric choice
These 2 factors will change how the pillows feel, whether is it the ultimate luxury feel, or the most basic but supportive pillow.


Consumers often do not know how manufactures make them, and think that they are very complex to make.

think of it this way, you just got to put stuffing's into the fabric and sew it together.

So simple!

No matter how expensive, or how cheap the pillow is, it will become worn out with use overtime.

Important point for the consumers is to remember how simple is it to make fluffy pillows! Anything above $60 is way too much for pillows. We can't see a point buying anything above $60 for a pillow other then bragging rights. 

PILLOW HACK the TILAM KING WAY

We often tell our customers to buy a sewing machine, reason was, if they feel that the pillow is too flat, buy more pillows to transfer the fillings to the pillow that you wish to use. If it is too tall, remove some, this way you can get the ULTIMATE pillow!


Cost = Sewing machine + $50 worth of pillows, equates to eternal happiness with pillows.

So let me introduce you to our concept of TK Pillows:


1. Hi-Pillow - suitable for back sleepers
This is a tall pillow, it can give comfort to the neck while supporting the neck to be straight when rested sideways. 


2. Lo-Pillow - suitable for back or front sleepers
This is a low pillow, giving back sleepers comfort maintaining their neck straight. Front sleeping is actually a very unhealthy position, however when doing so, they need to ease off pressure built up on their chest, the pillow has to be softest and low, so that they can be in a comfortable position.


3. Mo-Pillow - suitable for back sleepers
Memory foam pillows comes with fixed shape. These are good for back sleepers because everybody's back profile is the same. Lifting their head slightly to keep their neck straight while resting.

We feel that the industry got too many variants of pillows, and we feel that these 3 sums it all.

The formula to awesome pillow is to sun frequently(daily would be super awesome) and wash the pillow case often.

WALA~! there you go, another tip and trick to keeping your pillows low cost yet if you need to tweak it further to bring it to the next level, invest in a sewing machine.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Singaporeans and fellow supporters,

I am so happy to come across something recently, and I noticed that there are good videos that was put on YouTube and which are informative and educational created by our very own CPF board.


Please watch! 5.55 on-wards is the message that we would also wish to highlight to our fellow Singaporeans.

We respect educated people, and we treat people with the utmost respect, so we only can be logical to what we do. We will not sell you something that is made up completely out of illusion, or basically just make things up.

We focus on the product so you can understand what we are selling.

We will never sell you our fame, our company or our legacy, our job is to make you understand about mattresses and how we make them. Period.

We utilised the best materials possible to make our mattresses.

Social media helped TilamKing in keeping it Real!

Dear fellow Singaporeans, supporters and friends,

We have gone so far ahead and beyond our imaginations...

Why is that so? It all started because we wanted to know whether is it sustainable to have a company fully 100% run with social media and spending really low amounts of money on marketing.


The answer is, we can! But it sure is not easy.

When we started out, we didn't have any advantage in terms of location, and we just knew that we wanna do something great for our audience and supporters.

It was sheer passion that motivated us.

We enjoy sharing how we manufacture our mattresses and conceptualise what we could do for our clients with our 5 different series.


The 5 models really is the basis of what we would call an exoskeleton, any mattress would have to follow these concepts to make either by putting more layers or by removing layers.

Singapore's standard sizing for mattresses and the available bed linens in Singapore.

Dear folks and friends,

I think effort have been done to explain this over and over again.

with regards to the blog post on :



They were comparing sizes from IKEA which is an international entity. Their sizes are slightly different from Singapore and most ASEAN regions.

In Singapore, 
The standard size(cm) is as follows;

Single - 91x190
Super Single - 107x190
Queen - 152x190
King - 182x190

Robinsons sells mattress with these sizes, Takashimaya sells mattress with these sizes, Courts sells mattress with these sizes, all the international brands like 3S sells mattress with these sizes.

Fitted Sheets from all departmental stalls sells sheets that cover mattress sizes from the above.

We hope this can help first time mattress buyers to further understand the standard sizes of mattress in Singapore, where we all belong.

We have emailed them about the misunderstanding caused, but no reply nor action has been taken to rectify their facts.

Nonetheless, we are happy that they even write about us.

5 TIPS to take when selecting a mattress.

1: Research, and plenty of research.
Most of the consumers today are very uninformed. Mattress have been a complicating product for many ages, but what was keeping it simple was brands and sales people trying their best to sell the consumers the highest priced products. In doubt ask Google!
The formula to a good mattress should be :
Components from a reputable source + Workmanship = Product
If you factor in all the magic, then really what you are paying is marketing.
So long as the company will be willing to standby their clients and be a solutions provider to the clients problems, no problem is a big problem.


TILAM KING's formula states that - 
BMI which is your body mass, deter the idea of softness which is different from another person with a different body mass.
Personal Preference - everyone's ideal softness or firmness is different.
Affordability - it is something that has to be overcome in-order to look at a product for a product.
Fluffy Illusion - marketing materials + jargons that you will never know in your entire lifetime.
Your Perfect Mattress means that you see through all the logic and understand that mattress is ultimately a product to add comfort during your sleep.

2: Determine how do you sleep?
If you are a side sleeper, do note that you are shifting all your body weight to your arms and your hip bone. You probably need a thicker pillow top mattress to ease off pressure built up around your shoulders and arms. Also because of your shoulder width, your neck requires a taller pillow as well for filling up the empty gap in your neck.
If you are a back sleeper, congrats! You have officially the simplest and healthiest sleeping position! Our back have the least number of arches and curves, and the pressure points are spread across your whole upper shoulder blades and your lower back. Typically back sleepers prefer firmer mattresses. For back sleeper's pillow choice, normally contour or low pillows. If using a tall pillow, the person's head will be in a unnatural position.

If you are a Front sleeper, you actually have the worst sleeping position, but if you're most comfortable with it, we'll still guide you on what to look out for.
Front sleepers requires a soft surface with thick pillow top, to ease off all the huge pressure built up around the chest and belly area. A low pillow will further aid in relieving more pressure as low pillows are relatively softer then the sleeping surface.


3: Spent time understanding answers from the questions you ask.
If most of the time, the sales person do not understand what you are asking? How can he be the person to go to when it comes to purchasing something that you sleep on EVERY SINGLE DAY?
Visit a professional or at least someone that takes their client's sleep very seriously, ask them questions, clear your thoughts, and make sure you listen to what they say to you, they will help you make a sound decision in making a wise choice for your ultimate sleep. Professionals will never recommend a mattress to the consumer even before understanding what the clients need, remember that.
Only GOD can know what you need even before trying out, that's why we are kinda half hearted in trying to go sell our products on-line. The truth is, you're just lying to yourself thinking that our brand works for most and will work for you. 


4: Try them out, take your time!
Most of the mattress companies now have showrooms, go test them out, tell the sales person to shut-up for at least 30 mins, lay down yourself and ask yourself whether the mattress feels good or not? Price doesn't justify the products, you laying down on the product, feeling good about it is far more important then the price tag. You got to lay down on each mattress for at least 10-15 mins and you may roll around to see how the mattress can absorb your body weight, to see the kind of comfort you get from the mattress. This trial and error is crucial, because majority of the people out there do not test enough. End up buying something they do not know.


5: Reasonable Value approach
Good mattresses nowadays are very expensive, when we used the term good, we meant those companies that bother to use good components in their mattresses. A reasonably safe bet for a mattress price point should be in the region of $3500 - $5000 retail price after discount. 
When you minus off the Artas shopping mall rent mark-up of $1000, 
and you minus off the big A&P effort of another $1000, 
probably minus off another $500 for commissions of sales staff.
Also do not believe that the mattress used to be 100,000 suddenly today you chance upon it, and it becomes 2,500. LOL PLEASE!

*My cousin is a qualified Chiropractor, if you have any back issues, he is the man to look for. If any joker claims that their particular mattress can heal your back, please just smile and move away. LOL

Be wise about the concept of what online media can do, and how it could bring genuine businesses to reach out to people whom understand the concept of product as a product.

If again you still have doubts, ask Google for the millionth time! :D

5 BIG THINGS consumers MUST understand about mattress shopping.

Ever wonder why sometimes, shopping for mattresses are so complicated?

We have been using this product since our great grand parent days, why till today it is so complex?

How come no one bother to even break down the specs and talk about the product and how they make, yet they rather TM some kind of fancy name, when you Google the fancy terms, 
it is just what it is...

1. BROCHURES FOR MATTRESS MAKES A MATTRESS LOOK SEXY.
As we move towards the mattress displays, at the left hand corner, are some awesomely designed mojo, called BROCHURES. 
When you pick them up, 
LIGHTS BECOMES BRIGHTER, 
EMOTIONS ERUPT, 
FLAMBOYANT AND BOLD TERMS DISCOVERED.
- I then tell myself, I got to own this fine piece of ART!

Words from the brochures, if you simplify them into perspective, you will see that they are all the same. They will never reveal the kind of density they use for the product, neither will they describe to you about how they construct the product. 
They simply brag about the kind of history they have, which Hotel's they collaborated with, they even come to the point show you their brochure and brag about the kind of "technology" they have.
For EG,
"CAN NEVER DISTURB YOUR PARTNER AND CONTOUR TO YOUR BODY SPRING SYSTEM TM"
Well simply put it, individual pocketed springs, been around for centuries...
You get my drift about brochures. 
"If you cannot convince them, confuse them" - one of the tricks Gurus in marketing use.
Nowadays who reads them? LOL

2. REAL ESTATE, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.
If you ever go to a few main stream boutiques, you will realize that they are all situated in great real estates, and to the point, their decor, so lavish and welcoming.
They are normally expensive psf rental real estates, but they have the best frontage and crowds will pass by. It may be convenient, it may look better, it may even make your ego feel awesome.
You can even brag about it :P 
"oie, I buy my mattress from orchut loot lei..."
"woa, he buy mattress from orchut loot lei, must be bery rich..."
Having said that, these are one of the most important factors when it comes to understanding business. Someone has to take care of their overhead, it was never free, and convenience and we all know style comes at a price.
Where did the focus at now? Product? or location?

3. YOU SEE THEM EVERYWHERE AND ALL THE TIME.
Banner ads, poster babies, big all across buildings, buses, and specific in placing it in high traffic areas. You understand what we are trying to let you understand, all these are money, BIG MONEY, burned so that everyone that walks past it, will register it in their mind, maybe not directly, but subconsciously. Then again, who pays all these stuff... 
Consumers.
Erm, where was the focus again? Marketing? Product?

4. NIKE do not make shoes, they appoint people to do so.
This term is what we called subcontracting. Established brands never make products by themselves. They normally subcontract manufacturing out to manufacturers. The truth about mattress making is, it was never that complex to even start a mattress factory. The kind of skilled labour required now, is very low. It can be substantiated by high quality semi automated machineries.
The reason why this is possible, is simply because they manage their brands very well, hence they have enough margins to subcontract their "risk" out so they can focus on creating new designs.

But then again, mattresses, are designs necessary? 
The function of a mattress is and has always been to give comfort to the user.
How basic and simple it is to understand, yet so confusing to even try select.
Why not just use high quality components so that the mattress, because of the high quality components, is then deemed as a high quality mattress. PERIOD.

5. The number of models and house models will scare you.
You have been to mattress showrooms, a couple of them. You will notice that there are so many models on display under each brand. Have you ever witness this?
"eh, why I see the mattress at Courts, different from Robinsons? or local shops?"

The fundamental of house models, is to allow the respective shop to price their product without allowing the consumers to do comparison. 

In the eyes of the consumer, don't you think it is so weird?

Ask yourself these questions, 
"if I buy a branded mattress, should it be something where all the outlets have, and should it be a representation of what the brand is trying to sell?"
"they say until so good, but their mainstream models so expensive, but the house model so much cheaper?"

Don't you think it is a strategy to peck the price higher, so that the house model seems affordable? Hence because of the great name of the company, you purchase it, just because.

Where was the focus on the product? Where is the professionalism about product and technology? Whereby a particular model, should be the flagship, and why aren't you buy it? Instead looking at the price to buy something which doesn't represent the brand at all?

The concept of a house label and the multiple models, has got nothing to do with the representation of the brand, but only an excuse to confuse the consumer.

Why are we not at Expo nor in any "exhibition".

Hi everyone, friends and fellow supporters,

There was a lady once called us on our line, "hi, are you in Expo? Can I see your mattresses over there?"

Unfortunately, I replied, "No, we are not there."

Sad, but true...

Yes, we could do the same like what brands are doing, which is to increase spending on advertising and taking up exhibition space.

Just for your general knowledge, Expo space rents for approximately SGD$9,000 for 11days, which will give the tenant 2 full weekends(Saturday and Sunday). $9k is some lousy facing, prime front go upwards $30k.

These are without the cost of setting up and tearing down, which approximately cost up to $10,000 more including staffs and extra.

Imagine $20,000 for 11days burned, just hoping that people will come and buy?

How much sales would be required for it to break even? You can imagine.

So it is not free ladies and gentlemen...

Mark ups have to be high in order to cover this gap. Imagine how HUNGRY they are. LOL

There is also another problem, when you go there you will realize, they do not have good and great crowds. The typical discount shoppers will head there and in order to clinch their deal, their sales person will have to over promise(not be honest) just to seal the deal.

If we focus too much on sales, the pitch becomes boring.

If we focus more on product, you will become educated in return.

How to really compare TK products? The average consumer's favourite question.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Singaporeans and fellow Supporters,

I think it is time to write something that really will be useful for many. I honestly didn't know how to write about it in the beginning, because I was afraid I wasn't ready, nor it may backfire me being so real about certain things.

Don't forget I am only just a small fry in a OLD traditional market whereby the majority of the consumers had been influenced over years and years of paid advertising. Money talks bulls**t walks, is still the norm in today's society. Reality often is so harsh that people choose to lean towards bulls**t.

The mattress industry.

i. The million dollar question: So how do you compare your mattresses to other brands?

Ans: Thank you for noticing us, this is already something magical. We only use so little resources to reach out to you, and honestly now you are in our showroom, asking us this question? Why not try it yourself? When you lay down do you feel any difference with any other mattresses? Other then them being at HIGH END malls, with stupid rents, and filled with emotionally stressed SALES which actually makes them a huge profit already. 
We are honest about our pricing, we use the best of everything to make 1 simple mattress. We do not need to explain ourselves like how others will, we will never put in the same effort in marketing, because it will make our company just like what the rest are out there. If we were to be mainstream, the end product will be simple, the more money I spend on designing fanciful terms which the consumer never will understand, wins the game. PERIOD.
Where are the emphasis on the mattress?
We just tell all our consumers the same thing and over and over again. 
We are not special.
We are not better then any of the brands out there.
What you get is something real, called a Mattress.

If you wish to buy a mattress, come to Tilam King, if you wish to buy more then that, I am afraid we do not have anything to for fill your ego ;)


ii. The billion dollar question: Why do not other brands follow you? Since you say until so simple?

Ans: They have gone too deep into creating a stupid ideas that mattresses have technology. You ask yourself  this simple question, 
Is it real technology? Can titanium be used in springs and be affordable? Can mattress be cooling and not trap heat? Can mattress sleep already can fly?

Now I ask you,
how old are you now? Obviously not a child right?
You got study or not? You should be aware about some materials, if not just google.
Can you just have some common sense? There is just no such thing as a fancy mattress.

If they follow my business model, imagine this, their CEO and multiple board directors will not have any gains. Who are the ones contributing? The typical consumers that actually think that expensive products have better stuff, the better stuff is the unnecessary layers of HR doing absolutely nothing important at all. :) it is true in every organization, touch your heart ask yourself.

If you see all my answers are not necessary talking about mattresses components. Sad right?

iii. The trillion dollar question: You always say until so good, you no need to earn money meh?

Ans: I always thank them when they say this, I say thank you so so so much, but honestly I am running a business, if it is not sustainable, I cannot even continue typing, have been doing so for 4 years. 
The Magic of TK is to transform something which is so traditional, into something linear, eliminate all the unnecessary and make full productivity for our staff to handle.
The key point is to eliminate Confusion, not to generate Confusion, which most companies are spending top dollar to generate Confusion.

We own the best equipment in the WORLD to make our mattresses.
We use the best components which are renown in the WORLD.
We have a good size warehouse in SG that can hold 5 40ft containers.

We own the cleanest Euro5 Diesel fleet to do our delivery.
We have the most passionate people to change the mattress industry.

We have reached to a point where we need to participate in national development. GST.

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen, fellow supporters and Singaporeans,

We have reached to a point where we are required to pay our government for Goods and Services Tax, in short GST.

From the letter's effective date, we will have to impose GST from 13/11 onwards.

Our prices will remain unchanged to keep it affordable for everyone!

So hopefully the government will not increase GST anymore!

Tilam King haven't change any of our style of sales, we only improved it.

Tilam King haven't drawn into pro-business, meaning dump money for marketing for more sales.

Tilam King is still the least sales driven company I probably think in the world...

If you do not know what you are buying, or didn't get what you came for, we will just say thanks for your time, and see you soon someday...

The concept of what Tilam King believes is, we as a manufacturer simplifies our mattresses, to the point, our consumers must know what we are talking.

We back it up by quality components suppliers...

and now in 2015, we backed it up more by the best possible equipment used to make our mattresses.

and in 2016, we hope to start collecting DATA (not going to say yet) to substantiate that Tilam King mattresses allow all our clients to have a great night sleep, like wise the other branded boys.
