Pumpkin Prowl

Had to throw in this cute pic of Makayla:

We went to the Pumpkin Prowl at the zoo. Kinda fiasco to get there and get our tickets but the zoo was worth it.

We went through a pumpkin patch with hundreds of carved pumpkins. The girls were dressed up and got to trick or treat along the way. Lots of healthy, wierd, organic candy. But that's Seattle for you!

In the Zoomasium where the girls usually get to play indoors was a haunted house. Not very scary but Taylor did have a problem with the huge moving spider. Charly told me she could tell it was a robot.

Check out her height! We also got to see some ballerinas in the rain. I'm sorry I didn't have a video camera to catch them dancing in the rain. Really different.
Oh and if you couldn't tell, Taylor is Anikin Skywalker, Charly is a witch (she didn't want to bring her hat and broom) and Makayla is a dead bride. You'll tell better on Halloween cuz then she'll have her face painted white.

Charly's school play

Mom, Dad, Makayla and I went to see Charly's school play.

Charly was the scarf fish and the sea urchin. She did a beautiful scarf dance. I'm not sure what that had to do with the chark but then again most things didn't make sense to me about the play. Like the crabs who randomly crossed the stage and yelled out crabby things like, "I want my Playstation!"

GO FISH! A "comedy" about a shark who wants to be friends with the fishes. I think they were telling jokes. It's hard to understand nervous 2nd graders dressed as fish. But they sure knew the songs! Heck, I almost have all the songs memorized after hearing Charly teach them to the other two all month. "It's a round up under the sea!"

Taylor's field trip

Taylor's field trip to the Kids Museum on Bainbridge Island and the Pumpkin farm!
I got to drive a group there and chaperone. Very insane but fun!

The whole group in a pretty awful group picture.

This was our car group. Aren't they cute? Everyone got a pumpkin to take home.

Building then knocking down the foam squares was a really big hit.

The kids loved the spin chairs.
Don't you love these Greek Goddesses?

We got to create at the museum. Pumpkin books!

Taylor's party!

Taylor's big #6! We had karaoke, dancing, crafts(making a guitar), and cupcakes! All at the Public Library!! Aren't I wierd?

Everyone dressed like a rock star. We even hair sprayed their hair blue, pink, green, purple and glitterfied them!

Dad was the awsome music and light provider for the party. It was amazing! And you couldn't hear it in the Library next door!

Rex got the cake. Notice the colors. Very Rexish.

Actually they were cupcakes. Very easy to eat and clean up!

Taylor made out like a bandit. We don't need parties for the next two years!! But everyone had fun. I had a blast doing the chicken dance!
I hope Taylor felt like a rockstar. I've heard from the parents that this was a party the kids will never forget!
ROCK ON!!
