WIP Thursday - Brain Mush

Some days words just seem to explode out of me and can't wait to be written down, but then there's weeks like this where I'm writing for my day job and when it comes time to do 'fun' writing, nothing comes to mind. It doesn't help that spring break means the kids are ALWAYS around and as much as I do love them, I also need some alone time or at least some space to think! They are old enough that they don't need my constant attention, but somehow they still haven't developed the ability to find stuff by themselves. ("Where's the frozen pizza?" "In the freezer." "I can't find it." *I open freezer and it's right on top.* "Yep, you were right, very hard to find." *resist urge to roll eyes at my own children*)

WIP Wednesday - And Now the Shortest Week of the Year

 Ok, not really the shortest, but this week seems to be flying by! I have a bunch of stuff I need to get finished and it seems like midnight is coming earlier! (oh wait, it IS! Stupid time change) It doesn't help that instead of focusing on orders I keep getting distracted...New pouch pattern? I think I need to buy it and make 6 right away!  New cookie place? Let me go stand in line for 15 minutes to buy some! LOL!

WIP Thursday - Longest Week of the Year

I'm not sure why, but it feels like this week is DRAGGING on, and at the same time I'm barely getting anything finished! A sick kid is probably the main contributing factor on the delays and sucking my energy, but it feels like this week will never end. I'm pretty sure it's been 15 days since the weekend...

WIP Thursday - And Now It's March?

I feel like I blinked and we are suddenly 3 months into the year!  I think I need to focus this month on trying to get the sewing studio organized or at least more organized than it currently is. I've been so busy for the last months (years?) that a lot of time I pull fabric out and it gets stacked in a 'later' pile to be put away and somehow 'later' never comes.
