February Flashback

Snowmaggedon 2011 was fun for us. Pace was home from work 2 days that week. We had 2 inches of ice to start with tand hat never melted because the temps stayed so low and then it snowed a few days later so snow covered the ice. We went out to play in the snow a few times. Finn loved it, Mal - not so much. She and I went in after a little bit. We had fun though having Pace at home with us during the day.

Then, flash to warm weather and Finn is washing his car. Crazy weather we have. Freezing and snow and then a couple weeks later as warm as can be. Finn was helping Pace wash my car and then decided he needed to wash his car too.

So proud! This is when Mallie started pushing up really high and scooting around.

Double Tummy Time. Mal was laying on the floor and Finn went and layed down in front of her and started talking to her. So I had to snap a picture of that cuteness!

8 Months

Hi! Baby Girl is now (past) 8 months old. She's having so much fun and is constatntly trying to keep up with Big Brother. Here's a little of what she's doing.
~She's still not super excited about baby food. She eats about 1 oz of food 1 time a day. She's had pears, apples, prunes, and peas. We just today tried mashed up banana. She's also had a bite of mashed potatoes and a puff. Here's hoping she'll get to eating food soon.
~She wakes at 7:30ish and goes to bed between 7:30 and 8.
~She has 4 8 oz bottles a day and sometimes a 5th bottle which is 6 oz.
~She naps around 9 for about 1 hr., around 1 for about 2 hrs. and she'll sometimes have an evening nap around 5 that lasts about 45 min.
~She goes down wide awake after I sing her 2 songs and then cries for about 30 seconds as I leave the room and then jabbers 'til it's off to sleepyland.
~She goes to sleep with BearPaci which is her wubbanub pacifier (a soothie with a bear attached to it). It's so cute to peek in at her and she'll be snuggling with it or using it as a pillow.
~She's army crawling like nobody's business. She'll be across the room in like 10 seconds. She's quick! She even scooted herself out the backdoor the other day. Yikes! She's definitely mobile now! She'll also push with her feet as she's crawling and get up and rock on all 4's. ~When I'm holding her she's always leaning over trying to get on the floor. She loves moving around on her own.
Sigh....I love my baby girl! And I just LOVE this age. It's so much fun and she's so happy and curious about everything. Love my Mallie Mae!
