6 Months
Wow! Time has flown by. I can't believe that Finn wasn't even here with us 6 months ago. Our lives have changed in so many wonderful ways. I can't imagine life now without our little Finny!
A lot has changed with Finn over the past few months.
What's going on:
~he can roll over both ways.
~he is STILL an inconsistent napper
~still sleeping through the night - 8ish to 8ish
~loves to laugh, giggle, and scream
~tends to grunt when he wants something (is that a boy thing or what!?!)
~can sit alone for a few quick seconds - we're practicing a lot more sitting in the boppy
~started showing an interest in Gracie
~his favorite noise is the "elephant noise" where he blows air out his lips
~he's starting kicking/playing during bathtime more
~he understands the sign for bottle - most of the time :)
~is done with nursing and is only on formula (as of today)
~he will reach for toys and go after them on his playmat
~found his feet and loves sticking those toes in his mouth
~loves to smile at his mommy! (ahh, it melts my heart!)
We had our doctors appointment on Tuesday. He said that Finn looked good and solid(whatever that means).
Here's what we learned at the doctor:
~Finn is FINALLY on the chart for weight!!! He weighs 13lbs 10 oz. and is in the 4%
~Height - 25.5 in. (24%)
~Head - 16.5 (10%)
~We're ready to start food! We're going to start with rice cereal for a few days and then move on. I'm thinking avacado or sweet potatoes. Not sure yet...

Dedication Day
Finn's dedication was yesterday at church. We stood up with Finn in front of the congregation and our pastor spoke about the meaning of his name. We then confirmed to raise Finn in a Christian home and in the ways of the Lord. It was very special and touching and made me very appreciative and thankful for our little gift from God. Finn kind of grunted during all of this. I think he was sleepy!
Then we went out to lunch to celebrate with both sets of grandparents. It was a special weekend!

Finn received a rose, a Dedication Certificate, a name meaning certificate, a cross for his wall, and a New Testament.

St. Patrick's Day
Finneas Patrick O'Pace had a great time celebrating his 1st St. Patty's Day! We have a big party every year the Saturday before. There is always a parade and block party near our house. So we have friends over to celebrate. Slainte!
Finn's 6 month appointment is next week so we'll post some new stats then.
