The Last Vacation (for awhile)

We went to Seattle with a group of 5 friends and really enjoyed ourselves. It will be our last big trip for awhile. We went to a food festival called Bite of Seattle and went to a crab boil restaurant. Both had really yummy food (which I'm a fan of right now -- I eat LOTS!)

We also enjoyed hanging out on the lake that our friend's parent's lake house was on, went to a waterfall, and we went to Pike's Market. Overall it was a great trip -- just a little cold though for me though. You should not have to use the heater in July!

More of The Nursery

Here's pics of our daybed (now with a bedspread), the completed crib, and the dresser. We also have a rocking chair that belonged to my grandparents and was in my classroom up until May. We're very excited about the furniture (even though after getting it home we realize how similar the crib is to our own bed.) I guess we have a certain taste! Just 3 more months 'til our precious little boy will be sleeping in that crib! How exciting!

Crib Construction

Here are a few pictures of me putting the crib together. It was actually easier than I've heard it would be...if you don't count the 5 minutes where I seriously pondered breaking it down into kindlin'.

Tiffany really helped a lot too...as much as she could. It's getting pretty hard for her to go from sitting to standing and vice versa.

The Nursery (so far)

So we've cleaned out the closet, gotten rid of a bunch of junk, and have started to get the nursery ready!
So far, we have the daybed. Still no bedspread but we're looking and trying to match fabrics.
We should have the crib and dresser in at the beginning of next week.

And...woohoo! Today I reached 100 days to go! We're in the home stretch!

And...thanks to Jeff (soon to be Uncle Jeff) for getting the ultrasound video up and running! :)
