Yes, this falconz is an Old bird liao. Way past the Quarter Century mark. Time slipped by me way too sneakily. Didn't even notice. Whatever.
Sadly still lost in this world of survival of the fittest. Still not made my mark. Still not found where I should head for the next 10 years. Life really propels you forward through time very fast once you go past 20. No resolutions for me. I'm not that type of person. Whatever will be will be. Let the struggle continue.
Many thanks to Joyce Lim for initiating my bdae celebration with the Njd ppl on the eve of my Bdae. Really appreciate everyone's presence especially this semester where everyone is so busy with school work. All due to NP's plan to shorten the semester. But that's another story altogether.
Derrick, William, Xiang2, Joyce, Beesim, Dawn, Mark Lim and Colin. It would have been best if Ryan, Edwin and Mark Cheong (who mistaken the outing was on Sat!) have been there too! Then it would have been a full turn out! But one cannot be too greedy!
Had our dinner and later, a sudden "celebration" at citylink Thai Express.
The food and was good and the service was nice, as good as you will get nowdays, it is one of the more enjoyable dinner celebrations in recent times. 3rd sis was there to recommend us dishes in such a enthusiastic manner, it really is a stark contrast to when she was complaining about the working conditions in Thai Express previously. I guess that is the difference when you are at served, not serving.
And then there is the joke on how to make green curry...but lest you wanna have a second look everytime you have a bowl, doubt you will wanna hear it. Heh.
And what's a celebration without a cake and birthday song? Joyce got a small strawberry cake and it was followed by the usual Bdae song from the juniors. Even the Thai Express Management followed up by playing the music in the restaurant! Wah.... seriously have not celebrated my bdae in such a public manner before. An amalgam of touched-ness and paiseh-ness. Hah. Something not felt since poly times. But then again, I'm with poly people! Too bad though, only Beesim seems to be the only one who knows how to be abit crazy in celebrations. I would have been making a scene there just for the spirit of things.... if I'm not 26.....must keep reminding self..... :P
Also noticed there's this Ninja themed Jap restaurant beside Thai Exp. Seems reasonably priced(leaning abit to expensive). Might jio everyone there the next dinner outing.
But for now....pics!!

Dinner at Thai Exp. William camoflauges into the background, Derrick is speechless while Beesim reduced into a cyclopian being.
Lucky we had a better shot at the Esplanade:
