Yup...in a moment's time, 2009 will come to an end and 2010 arrives.
2009 has been an eventful year, not just at the homefront but at work and ministry too.
As usual, I have my regrets but I also the good times which I thank God for. Because He was there for me.
I pray that for 2010, He will continue to walk with me in this journey of life and that my walk with Him will be closer and tighter.
All praise be unto Him - Christ Jesus!
Looking forward to 2010 with anticipation~! Tjowster Out~!

It's been a while....
Yes, since July, life has been pretty busy. I have been pretty much caught up with the UPs and DOWNs in life. Got caught in DOWNs most of the time, but I thank God that somehow in His own divine ways, He got me out of it. I survived with His help, being stronger than I was.
Although it was tough (and I certainly don't savour them at all!), I thank God for the DOWNs because He was with me. Now for the upcoming changes, I will continue to commit to God for His divine guidance and will. It will not be easy to follow His will, but I will trust and obey.
Just finished my exams today (aka 20th Nov), although I only needed to take one paper this semester, it was challenging with the DOWNs to distract and disrailed me from what was important. In addition to this, 2 weeks before the exams, my Ezekiel and Eleanor fell ill and only now things are on a better turn.
The J2s (pseudo-Olive and gang) are graduating soon aka after their A levels this month, they are gone. I am going to miss all their antics and nonsense - I mean who is going to be playing Dissidia with me!!!!!!!! *chuckle*
Of course with the current batch J1s (aka Celine and the Waki Batch), I suspect that their antics will be equally memorable (if not MORE memorable)! The truth is this - every batch is different and are special in their own ways (and so are the problems that comes along WITH them~!! *hur hur hur*).
I pray that God will be merciful to my soul and grant me strength to face them anew everyday...
Yes, Theodore aka the Fei Nao (Fat Bird) has gone to a better place (no..he is not dead yet...he just found a better job, that's all! =p hahhahaha!!). I wish him the best, I will miss his nonsense too...hahahaha! I pray that God will send someone to fill up the vacancies in the Chaplaincy Team.
Looking forward to 2010, the new year, the new students and of course LIFE CON 2010!!!!!!! Wooohooo~!!!
But before 2010 arrives, I must LOSE WEIGHT! I MUST DIVIDE the "unified world" to 6 countries (if 8, better still!!)!!! And now that my bestie (no, not Joseph) and running kaki is less than 30 secs away from my room, I have someone to go running (and blading) with me liao!!! Looks like the days of being SFST is super near! I will embrace it with open arms!!!! WOooooooHHHoooooooo~!!!
I wanna be SFST AGAIN!

The day when Waki destroyed Jeremy and the rest of us got it from her too...
Today was good @ work. Settled quite a fair bit of stuff, went over to the college side after lunch to settle some more stuff and of course pass Celine J-dramas..lolz~!
Then Evangeline popped by to Mentors' Room, followed by Jolene a.k.a. Waki came in too.Had a good time of chatting (yes, Waki telling us her "torturing" techniques and stuff!) then we (Kelvin, Andreas and I) dragged them to COR side and then out for dinner. Gone down to Takashimaya to ensure that our dear Andreas get her BoM, which she did, and she made me categorically promoted my status from Boss, Nanny and finally Daddy! =p
And I heard Waki distinctively said this to Kelvin and Evangeline, "Wah! Both of them standing next to each other, Matthew looks like Andreas' daddy!" I was like "Thanks loh!" BUT that was really minor..compared what was to come...
Then we headed of to Central for Dinner, this is where is begins...we were all sitting down chatting and stuff and suddenly Waki looks towards Jeremy's direction, looked into his eyes and said the following with alot of convictions and affections... "FEI MAO~~~!"
At this point all of us was stunned and speechless. Jeremy was in a state of shock...and Waki attempted to explain that she was trying to call Jeremy "Fei Niao" and not "Fei Mao" and stuff (Note: we were making mention about Fei Niao in Mentors' Room earlier and Waki asked who is Fei Niao"). The whole point is the more she tried to explained, the more it got messier.
All of us (except Jeremy, not becoz he was angry, was becoz he was shocked) was laughing (yes..evangeline was laughing too...)...And yes it's the first time I witnessed Jeremy getting destroyed...and yes, getting destroyed by the Waki.
I must say it was really fun hanging out with them...even now as I recall what Waki did to Jeremy @ Central, I am still laughing..wahahaha!!
Feeling happy,

J-Drama - Zettai Kareshi - Absolute Boyfriend.
Recently had my love for J-Drama reignited. I remembered the first time I went crazy over J-Drama was "To Heart" starring Kyoko Fukada (深田恭子) and Domoto Tsuyoshi (堂本剛) from the Kinki kids. Then it was "Forbidden Love" (魔女の条件) starring Matsushima Nanako (松嶋菜々子) and Takizawa Hideaki (滝沢秀明) and of course it was becoz of this show, I fell in love with the theme song "First Love" by Utada Hikaru and of course my subsequent love with J-Pop (more of the sentimental kind then the loud ones..lolz~! But I do make concession for SPEED and Ayumi Hamasaki and Eriko Imai!!).
"To Heart"
"Forbidden Love"
Zetta Kareshi a.k.a. Absolute Boyfriend
Then of course, for awhile, Mediacorp stopped bringing in J-Drama for quite awhile and was replaced with K-Drama with the likes of Winter Sonata and the "woo la la" 大长今, which I never really like nor understand their soapy-ness...too draggy too and PLASTIC! hahaha
And now suddenly, in the recent weeks, Mediacorp started to show this J-Drama which is an adapation from manga - "Zetta Kareshi" a.k.a. Absolute Boyfriend on Channel U, every Friday @ 10:30pm. After catching 3 episodes I decided to get the DVDs and viola! Today, I got them at the cheap cheap Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood CD shop - cheap and original! And of course, the theme song "Okaeri" by Ayaka is sooooooo nice... the song gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside me.
Yes, after all these, when it comes to all this lovey-dovey - J-Drama still reigns supreme! *swoon*
Enjoy~!

Chaplaincy Retreat Day 04.
Yup, checked out from the Retreat Venue and headed off for lunch and had "team activities" over at West Mall. Had lunched at the Foodcourt there and then "basketball" @ Timezone-equivalent arcade place.
After which, came back home did abit of work and hit the sack. Was really exhausted.
But on the whole, I thank God for His bountiful provisions and guidance for this retreat, I thank God for this team which He has assembled together. It was really fruitful and all glory to God! =))
It's a new beginning as I await with eagerness!
Feeling good~!

Chaplaincy Retreat Day 03.
Just had a new hot bathe, and right now, sitting on my bed in the chalet blogging the happenings for last night of this year's Chaplaincy Retreat.
In the morning, we had started with the debriefing of Christians United Camp and then at lunch time, we headed down to Gombak for lunch and back to the Chalet for a chartering of directions for the Chaplaincy Team in 2010.
I am happy to say that the team is quite enthusiastic about what is to about to come in SAJC for the year of 2010. Things are definitely more structured and defined, and the directions which we are heading is definitely clearer. I praise God for His guidance throughout the discussions.
After which is the BBQ nite, Canon and Shirley was the earliest and slowly the guests which we have invited slowly streamed in. It was certainly very heartwarming to see ex-mentors coming back to have a time of fellowship and catching up, a couple of PCC members like Auntie Chee Har and Uncle Subas was there too. And so was Rachel and Victor, I was glad they came. Kinda miss the kids, although I wished more of them would have come if not for the exams...haiz...
After the guests had left, the team and I had really a good time of chatting, "suaning" each other (and I confirm that Xinjie, the new mentor is very deadly!) and eating the remaining BBQ food. By the time we have cleaned up the place and washed up, it's already 3:00am!! *faint*
Funny thing is this, somewhat I feel that this retreat was a very good one for me, becoz although we work quite alot during this retreat compared to the last one (since things now are more clearer), we had alot of fun and bonding time, which really brough the team together. Really glad that Tricia was with us. Enjoyed her company and presence.
Above all, I am certain that I will miss Vincent and his nonsense. Alright, now to hit the sack... =)
Tired but happy,

Chaplaincy Retreat Day 02.
Althought we had started the day slightly later than the intended 6:45am (due to a nice rain that came about in the early dawn), we accomplished quite a fair bit during the morning session. Canon Tong joined us @ about 9:30am(?) while we were in the midst of breakfast and morning devotion. And I had found both the morning and evening debriefing session encouraging. The team has mature from where I first step into the team. I thank God for the growth which He had made it possible.
The team had lunch with Canon Tong @ Beauty World Food Centre, Bangkok-Thai. The food was FANTASTIC and it was Canon's treat...although the price for the meal of 8 people was a little steep, but it was really quite nice, especially the eggplant with mince meat and the fried chicken...simply superb! Then we headed off to Lor Kilat (across the road) for UDDERS!! It was a much spacious place compared to Novena and David, the Chief Milkman was there! Chatted with him abit and was told that now their main production kitchen is at Lor Kilat, coz the Novena kitchen too small to support production of ice-cream for the 3 outlets. I got Canon a double scoop "Rum Rum Raisins" and Tricia a scoop of "Tira-miss-u". I must say that it's really one of those rare occasion whereby the entire team could sit down with our big boss aka Canon Tong to enjoy ice-cream and chit chat..coz on normal days, Canon is really busy to have time like these to interact with us lah!
After this, we headed for bowling @ HomeTeam NS Bukit Batok with Canon..and he got a TURKEY! =p We highly suspected that he had employed divine guidance in this! hahahaha! But it was really fun! After the set, Canon left us for home and we headed for LASERQUEST!!!! It was supppppeeerrrbbbbbb!! Jeremy, Kelvin, Andreas and I was in one team, and Tricia, Vincent, Theodore and Angeline was in the other. The first round was crazy, we were simply screaming and shouting and shooting the other team to kingdom come! And at the end of the session, Jeremy was the top fragger! Then we decided to go for ROUND 2!! This time round, things was abit more structured and coordinated. Vince team was also getting more aggressive! Angeline was certainly a force to be reckoned with --> she "back-stabbed" Kelvin and was crazily shooting me down. Lucky Kelvin and I was tag-teaming otherwise, I die until jialat jialat... At the end of the session, I was the top fragger~! hurhurhur! It was really FUUNNNNN!!! =)
Came back to chalet, and we took a snooze before we started the evening session which Bernard and Joanne dropped in to say hi to the team and sat in for about 1/2 hour of the debrief session and Bernard gave very good and valuable inputs to the team. They left and suddenly appeared back with nice pipping hot CURRY PUFFS!!! Wooohooo~!! Was really motivating loh!
This evening session was really good as I have said earlier becoz alot of good questions was "shot" out from the team, particularly from my No.2 a.k.a. Jeremy, which had brought alot of clarity to where the team is heading and will be heading for 2010, this is a good headstart for tomorrow's morning session, which speed up the processes quite abit during discussion since the team now have a better bearing of where we are heading.
After the night session, we had a great prata supper @ Gombak. Great fellowship and chill out abit more at McDonald's. I savoured every moment which I truly enjoyed it.
Of course right now as I am blogging this entry, weird "sounds" and "noises" are coming from the toilet which I will not explicitly describe them in here. But I can only say this - we are but only humans...lolz~!
now to hit the sack...
Looking forward to Day 03,
