It's a girl!

Yep, we're having another girl. She looks very healthy and we're excited. Scott was appropriately thrilled although I know he's hoping for a boy at some point. The ultrasound technician said that this baby was particularly active ("This one's a live wire!" was another remark of hers) so it should be interesting to see if she has a polar opposite personality from Kate's. We're hoping that they'll be great friends. Kate watched the ultrasound and was only mildly impressed with pictures of the baby. When Clint asked her what she thought about becoming a big sister soon she said, "It's weird." Wise words.

Here's a profile shot. We think the nose and lips look similar to Kate's ultrasound profile (but don't they all kind of look the same anyway?).


My favorite - the butt cheeks. The technician said, "Wow, she's got a bony butt!" We laughed because that is something I've been teased about for my whole life. Poor kid.

We're proud that we sort of made an effort with our Christmas decorations this year. Please ignore the toy corner.

The star on top was cut off in this shot because we're still looking for the perfect gold one.
