Amy & Nick's Wedding Weekend!
Congratulations to Amy & Nick - our sweet sister & new brother! Last Sunday, May 22, they were married at the TPC in Valencia. It was a beautiful, sunny day and love filled the air! It was actually an entire weekend of wedding preparations and celebrations... starting off with the fun bachelorette night on Thursday... then the dress rehearsal & rehearsal dinner on Friday... then a family BBQ on Saturday at the Davidson's home... then the BIG day on Sunday! Every moment of the wedding weekend was so memorable and fun! And Amy was beaming the entire weekend!
Samuel had the important job of being the ring bearer! He did a great job walking down the aisle on Sunday! He held his little ring pillow in one hand, and his comfort silkie wubbie in the other! Of course, he was wearing his red shades... :) So cute! Here he is practicing at the rehearsal walking next to the flower girl.
Samuel and Uncle T had tons of fun on the TPC golf course hunting for "easter eggs" during the rehearsal. :)
Here's the three of us (almost the four of us!) before the wedding started. I am so lucky to be with two of the most handsome boys ever!
The 'maids' and I during the ceremony... all the flowers turned out so gorgeous! You can kind of see the 36 week baby bump hiding beneath my bouquet.
Here Amy & Nick are taking communion. What a sweet photo of a beautiful moment together! Amy's dress was simply equisite. ;) My brother Jason played "Divine Romance" during communion on his guitar and he sounded amazing!

Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Huddleston!
The reception was so much fun - - fantastic food & nonstop dancing! Here is Samuel diving into his chocolate wedding favor - mmmmmm!
This picture sums up the entire weekend of fun quite perfectly! Sammy was so tuckered out, he fell fast asleep in Andrew's arms during the reception, and didn't wake up till morning!
We love you Amy & Nick! Congratulations on a beautiful wedding day! We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for you as you start your newlywed life together!

What a fun surprise!
On Sunday, May 8th I was completely taken off guard when what I thought was going to be a nice Mother's Day dinner out, ended up being a surprise tea party/baby "sprinkle" (a.k.a. small baby shower) for little Micah & I! I dont think I have ever been so surprised before! I didn't suspect a thing... and it was so much fun!
As you can see from all the pictures below, everyone had such a great time! Thanks soooo much to everyone (especially my Mom, Sisters & Niece!) who planned out and organized this fun afternoon for us! Every little detail was perfect! :)

Hula Time!
Hi All!
So on the Saturday of Mothers Day weekend, my polynesian dance halau, Kehulili O Kailani, held our 5th annual hoike. We spent months preparing for all of our new songs for this big performance & luau, (including sewing all the costumes ourselves!) and it was simply amazing. All of the dancers were lovely, and the audience seemed to love every minute of the show! Here are a few pictures Andrew was able to take, and if it all works out, I'll try to upload a video of one of my dances!
I had to throw this picture in with the rest... Samuel is at home helping me pack for the dress rehearsal. He really wanted to try on this fern hei! What a handsome little keiki!
This is a photo of Sam & I before the show started.
Here is our class dancing Hi'ilawe with the ipu. You can really see my pregnant tummy in this shot! There were three pregnant girls dancing in my class this year, so I wasn't the only one! Also, it was sooo nice to have live musicians for our show! You can see them in the back...
I really like this costume - the red & black is so pretty! Here we are performing Lili'u, which is a traditional kahiko hula. (I'm in the middle here)
I figured out how to upload the video! So, here is my favorite song that we learned this year, called "Ruma Ruma Te Mau." It is a tahitian aparima, and we performed it with another class. Our class is wearing the grass skirts over our dresses... look for me on the far left! :)
Our trip to SLO
For our 7th wedding anniversary (May 1) we dropped Samuel off with his Grammy & Gramps, then headed up to SLO for a fun weekend! It was so much fun visiting our favorite places, eating at yummy restaurants, seeing all the changes on campus, and just enjoy being a kid-free couple (well sorta, Micah had to tag along!) :)
Happy Anniversary my love!
