should i retake my IPPT? im 4 secs short of getting a silver 2.4km timing and about 5cms to silver SBJ. but im not sure if i'll be able to improve my SBJ. getting a pass is hard enough.

10 more days to POP. time kinda flies. but after that, its hopefully OCS or SISPEC for me. OCS would be 38 weeks and SISPEC about 10 weeks for BSLC and 11 weeks for ASLC. which is even worst than my 9 week BMT la.

oh oh and i'm platoon top 4! in the running for platoon best. woots. but dont think my chances are that high though. there's another high flyer in the group who is popular with the commanders, but not very popular with the platoon. i wonder who'll get it. im psyching myself for another round of "interview" sessions that will probably lead to me being tekan-ed as hell like the other time. blahs.

in the past 2 weeks i've:

*dug my own shit hole
*slept in my own grave
*eaten cold food that tastes like shit
*charged at an imaginary enemy up hill a million times
*retrograde from an imaginary sniper while trying to evac a casualty
*proned on top of a former latrine area
*not bathed for 7 days
*finished 1 big bottle of snake powder
*become a medic and carried a stretcher everywhr
*did 12km route march, 4km fast march and 2km fast march
*got 5 pts for pullups, situps and shuttle run and 0 points for 2.4km and SBJ.
*did the SOC like a million times
*spent vday's and our 28mth anniversary out in the field.
*shot roughly 100 rounds of blanks
*gotten a funny tan comprising of my face, a v neck and hands up to my wrists. (guess i'm meant to wear v necks from now on to accentuate the v tan)

*met bebs every book out. :)
*got my pay of $280+$350. but somehow the army deducted $260 from my paycheck. like eh?
*got 2 cds from bebs (panic! at the disco and thrice)
*and a seth-like long sleeve tee for myself. (well actually its for bebs viewing pleasure. now all that's missing is the mop of hair)
