Bowling Night
For family night a week ago we went to the local bowling alley. Both of the girls love bowling so we do it every few months or so. When we got there we saw that they are doing some remodeling, which will be really great when it is finished, the building was a little out of date. Since it was dusty and noisy, we were the only ones there-which is always more fun.
DD1 tried out bowling the "real" way for the first time, meaning she held the ball with her fingers and tossed it. It moved VERY slowly down the lane but it eventually got to the pins. DD2 had fun lifting her 6 lb. ball onto the ramp all by herself. I was afraid we would have some squished toes, but luckily we didn't. With the bumpers up we all bowled a pretty good game :) I was ahead for the first few frames, but then my hubby quickly caught up and won the game. A fun night was had by all!

I'm getting excited!
I don't know why, but I always love watching the olympics! I am not considered to be a "sports fan" but I get all excited when the olympics come around. When they were in SL I attended a figure skating event and a medal ceremony. It was very cool. I of course love watching the popular events, but I will pretty much watch whatever sport is on- skiing, curling, luge, etc. I will be watching the opening ceremonies off and on tonight and then the fun starts!

New Camera
I was trying to decide what to post for this week, it has been a crazy week with work, school, and babysitters...but we made it through and hopefully this next week will be calmer!
DD1 got a camera for her birthday. We did some research and found out that all those 'kidproof' digital cameras take crappy pictures (low megapixels and a fuzzy lens) so we decided to give her our older digital camera for her own. She LOVES it! It is a good thing that it is digital because she fills up the memory card after just a few days. She mostly takes pictures of herself, her toys, and the dog. I thought I would just show off a few of her typical shots. (Luckily I can pick and choose which ones I upload onto the computer!)
