The Art of making Friends. ( and perhaps how to maintain the relationship )
University opens a whole new world, new, foreign people ambush you almost everyday. You either meet them at lectures, tutorials, or perhaps lab sessions or practicals.
Possibly, the most polite or socially correct thing to do is then to make an attempt, feeble or not, entirely depends on your mood, for a small talk.
From there and then on, you might become best buddies, or just normal friends. Depends entirely on your chemistry with the person.
Sometimes I feel that it is really chemistry that brings people together. That first impression that person sends you, when you guys talk, if it feels "right". If that person belongs on the same wave length as you do.
Some people while being unbelievably nice, like I have met, just dont function on the same frequency as I do. Awkward silences push their way through us, filling up the voids. Bringing uneasiness.
