Trip to Legoland with the Girlfriends!


This post has been saved in my drafts for the longest time ever! Hahaha. Posting this up for memory sake. Met up bright and early with the girls at the Singapore Flyer > Breakfast at Ya Kun > Off on the WTS Travel Coach to Legoland! Remember feeling so excited fot this day trip just cos I was off to Malaysia without my parents. LOL













While we were eating, a live band? came in, and they actually asks us if we have any song request, and they started singing Taylor Swift's Love Story while we were having our meal. A pleasant meal indeed!











Headed over to the Minilands after taking the rides and touring the other parts of the theme park, Utterly amazed at how those little structures are made with legos!







Ended the day at about 6pm where we had to gather at the bus stop to board the bus back to Singapore!
Sincerely enjoyed every moment spent at Legoland with the ladies. The theme park may not be fantastic with kiddy rides and lame activities, but the company was just beyond awesome!
Thank you ladies for this wonderful experience. Love y'all to the moon & back!

As soon as he sang the first line, the tears started streaming down my face. Oh how I miss them so much... It was such a painful memory for both TVXQ and Cassiopeias. Even as Junsu was singing "Asu Wa Kuru Kara", he was holding back his tears, and it was so painful to watch. My heart ached so badly.. Once a Cassie, Always a Cassie! I have never once stopped supporting my oppas. 8 years as a cassie and still (will forever be) counting!

21 November: Filming for Chasing Time'13 Trailer
Super thankful for those who sacrificed their time and volunteered to help us out for our filming! Had a really good laugh all thanks to Zen, and everyone did their best to hold in their laughter when he acted as Ironman. xD You can catch our trailer on SIM-RMIT Student Council's Facebook page! 25 November: Recce @ Jalan Bahtera!
I remember waking up super duper early to meet the rest at Chiam's place before he drove us down to the west for breakfast and to meet up with the rest.
Took a shot to prove to the rest that we were there early! Hahaha!
Nostalgia when we entered Jalan Bahtera... It was only like a few months since Camp KOV ended, and it's like wow, now I'm back with a new purpose..








26 November: Meeting at Sinyee's
Yup.. We met the next day. Hahaha! We met almost every single day since then. I have no idea why, but I guess we all started going cray cray after long hours of meeting. & we started taking photos!
Went prawning at Bishan Bottletree Park after our meeting. I don't know how, but yes, we managed to squeeze like 8 people in a mercedes, 2 guys at the front and 5 girls at the back. & we were bitten by tons of mosquitos! Like wts. & those bites are damn f-ing itchy i swear. It was on my leg for 2 weeks! Insanity!
















1 December: Fishing!
Went out with Papa Yuen for sea fishing! Chiam came along as well. Hahaha! Insane weather where at one time its so bloody hot, and then it started raining at the next moment.
& I caught a Queenfish! With a tad bit of beginner's luck and my lucky green rod *wink wink*
Hahaha! It was so heavy that I couldn't bring it up! Papa and Chiam even had to take over me. *laughs*







4 December: AGM!
Had meeting beforehand, then we headed down for the AGM. & as usual, camwhoring timeeeee~ (I know I look damn tan here, I got sunburnt alright!)







5 December: Meeting + UOL Bash!
Gathered at Chiam's place for meeting. & all the ladies actually brought our clothes and makeup just to dress for the night. Hahaha! Mad hilarious when you see everyone rushing around putting on makeup. Cabbed to Zouk and partied hard with the other councilors! Really drank a lot of shots that night. But thank god I wasn't the one to get drunk that night. Hahaha! Oh, big thank you to the boss for lending me his blazer that night cos I was freezing cold! Danced real hard on the dancefloor that night until something happened.. Someone actually tried to be funny with Nadia, and luckily she told Chiam about it. He actually went to elbow the guy in his face! & after that, Chiam was like super serious. It felt like he was our bodyguard with him telling all the guys to form a circle around us in the dancefloor. We all tried to make him smile, but I guess he was still fuming mad. Well, he felt that he had the responsibility of taking care of all of us. But thanks again to the 2 awesome guys who protected us all night! ♡














13 December: Early Birthday Dinner!
I remember arriving early for meeting that day and waited for the rest at the tables outside the room. & then I saw Chiam and Sinyee came in with something in their hands. At first I didn't think much about it, and just entered the room cos I remember Sinyee was trying to get me into the room asap. Hahaha! Just so happens that during the day, I was packing for logistics for the next day and started flipping everything around. & then! I saw a box of Twelve cupcakes, but chose to remain silent about it. Hahaha! Went out after that to get some stuff printed with Jaslyn, and as I was walking back to the room, I was thinking what Jaslyn was doing, cos she started to knock on the door like the 11 knocks thing, and I was like, "just open the door la". Burst open the door, and it was pitch black with laptop lights on, & they were frantically trying to turn on some birthday song for me with the cupcakes and a candle. Hahaha! I did get a shock at that moment, cos I didn't expect that at all. Really grateful for the birthday song and the card they got me :)
Went for a late dinner after that, wasn't a pleasant one cos some things happened. & I also felt so bad cos the piggies were at my place while I was still at Clementi. In the end they had to go back. :( They even did a video for me. Hahaha! Thank piggies, sorry as well. & I love you guys!! ♡

Was in school super duper early to prepare for everything. Got some help from other councillors to transport the logistics over to Ulu Pandan where our dry run was held. & I remember all of us were frantically setting up for the games station when we arrived cos we were sort of late. While the girls were panicking, the 2 guys just stood there and wonder what we were doing, until Chiam just told us to calm down cos we were acting like chickens running around. Hahaha! Everything kinda went smoothly after that, though we had to reschedule certain things due to the weather, and the fact that I had to look at someone's black face the whole day.. So yeah! At least it went on smoothly!



It was time for dinner, and I was sitting by the window having my meal and admiring the beautiful sunset after the rain. Went out to clear some rubbish and when I wanted to enter the 2nd room, they wouldn't let me, and forced me into the 1st room. & when I went in, the whole council who were present for the dry run sang me a birthday song! I was totally embarassed but so grateful at the same time. :) & I was looking for a place to hide when my fellow OPT members started pushing me to the centre. Then I was forced to do a speech, which I did cos I had to. Hahaha. Thank you once again RMITSC! ♡ Oh oh! & I received a beautiful gift that day, a rainbow to brighten up my day!




24 December: Christmas Dinner with the Yuens!
Yearly affair with the Yuens. & a pleasant surprise as well! Cos Amanda Jie was back! & this time she brought her boyfriend with her. Hahaha!
Took a cousins photo, though 5 are missing.. Missing the others who are abroad ♡




Had a Christmas gift exhange with OPT as well! We draw lots to decide who buys for who. & Jasmine got me! She bought me a really pretty pouch from Cath Kidson cos I commented on how pretty her wallet was before, so she got me a similar design. Teehee. & Nadia actually bought gifts for all of us. :)



27 December - 29 December: SIM FRESHMEN-ORIENTATION CAMP CHASING TIME 2013
Last final meeting in school before the camp on the 27th, and I was rushing to do like my list of items for logistics. The immense pressure to finish everything by 6 was insane. But yes, I finished it in time, well, I had to!
Hopped over to XingJue's house where we stayed for the night, completed some last minute work and discussion before Chiam gave us a last debrief. You have no idea how excited, nervous, anxious we all were. But looking back and reflecting on the hard work we went through for the past few weeks, it gave me a really warm feeling in my heart. & Chiam teared as well. Hahaha. We all headed to bed at like 3am and woke up at 5am, and we reached school at 6!
Headed over to the CR to grab all our stuff and that's when the action began..


Day 1 of Chasing Time 2013:
Met all the OGLs & OGMs at LT1.17 where we gave out breakfast and started briefings. & I went up with my helpers to bring down all my logistics items.
As the "Director of Logistics", I was just locked up in my Logistics Room the whole day, passing out items to the OGMs and counting it when they returned it to me. So the stress wasn't that intense for me unlike the rest who were crazily running around, setting things right. My fellow OPT members popped by once in a while to pass me lunch and grab some items, and so I managed to grab a photo or 2 with them. Hahaha!




Had the chance to go out for a walk when someone was helping me look after in the logistics room. & couldn't help but to take photos of our current progress of the camp. Saw YuanXiu's group as well! CY was their OGL, and started introducing me to them when I was like a few metres away. Hahaha!



In the late afternoon, settled the Advance Party boxes and brought them up the bus with those leading the AP team. & in the evening, after the day games were done, it was time to transport the campers and ourselves to the Jalan Bahtera campsite. Was so tired that I dozed off on the way there.
When we reached, I rushed to unload all my boxes and counter check if everything was there. Big thank you to the AP who had to clean up the place and did the campfire under the rain.
Settled everything down and while the campers had dinner, I started preparing for all the mascot items, campfire and night games. It was intense, and I barely had time to eat cos it just felt like I had to settle everything until the seniors had to pull me away just for me to have my dinner.
Caught a glimpse of the mascot, the group performances as well as the OGL catwalk. Mad hilarious! Especially Tyler, omg, it was so cheesy, I burst out in laughter! & it was finally time for campfire!
It was a really memorable moment, cos 6 months ago, I was there as a freshie witnessing the whole campfire and doing the friendship dance, and 6 months later, I was standing at the top as a RMIT councilor and an OPT member to take part in the lighting of the campfire. It was a really special and beautiful moment for me when I saw the fire ignite into flames and how everyone was singing and cheering.





Proceeded with Night Games just after campfire, and we had almost all the lights in the campsite off except the toilets. It was darn spooky! We even had like creepy music turned on and omg, I was really really scared cos I was at the bottom patrolling alone. Our OGMs were so wonderful that night, putting on a really good show as doctors, nurses and patients that I myself was actually thinking if they were actually themselves or not.. (if you know what I mean).. I actually got really spooked by Caleb cos no matter what I asked him, he wouldn't reply me. & when it was the end of the game, I approached him at the foot of the stairs where he was alone, and then I was nudging him telling him it was over when he started crying and I got so scared, I started to page for the OPT members on my walkie talkie. Then he suddenly jumped up and said it was a joke. HAHAHA! Seriously, that was the biggest fright of my life!!
When it was all over and the campers were having supper/showering/preparing for bed, the debrief session begain with OGMs and OGLs. & after that, we had our own meeting/preparation in our room where it lasted till 4-5am. & during the meeting, while we were in a serious discussion, someone/ some people actually dozed off. I was kinda pissed? Cos we were more tired than them and I didn't even know what they did help us with but oh well *shrugs* So while we were done discussing as a team, some went to bed, some went to discuss on the changes needed to be made for the games, while I went to repack logistics and prepare for logisitcs for the next day and headed to bed after that.


Day 2 of Chasing Time 2013:
All the OPT ladies were sleeping and we woke up in shock cos we realized it was 8am and we were suppose to prepare for meetings and everything by then. Mad rush to wash up and prepare, and thank god we had everything organized so we were right on track. Chiam and Edwin didn't even sleep a wink! & they couldn't bear to wake us up cos we were sleeping so soundly in the room cos we were all exhausted and they wanted us to sleep a little longer. So sweet huh. :)
So everything went according to plan! Was a bit more relaxed that day cos everything was much more organized, and CK was DJ-ing in the hall, and some of us OPT members began dancing. Talk about tired-high huh. Hahaha! First ever time we see Edwin dancing, we all burst out into laughter. Maaaan~ It was hilarious!! Managed to take some photos while I was free during the Day Game. & it kinda struck me that the camp was going to be over in a few hours time.. Like 2 months of hard work ended in just a flash.
Anyway..
It started to rain just after lunch and it delayed our whole schedule where we were deciding whether to call off the "Quarter Quell" Game. But the rain stopped, which urged us to do last minute changes so that the game could go on. Xing Jue was on the highest level of stress cos she was in charge and she had to make major changes to everything in 5 minutes, while I had to redo the whole logistics for that game in that few minutes as well. At least everything went on without any huge hiccups and most of them enjoyed the game! Took a major group photo after that and showered the campers with water bombs as "blessings" from us. Hahaha! It's a tradition y'know. *wink*






& it was time the area clean-up, while my members decide on the Best OGL/ OGM and calculate the scores for the best District, and I packed and check my logistics. It was like a crazy rush for everything to be done asap cos we were leaving right after the prize presentation. Sealed most of my boxes and packed them in time.
Prize Presentation time! We did something different this time where all the campers actually walk away with something. Our best OGM was Nigel, who was such a great help to me as a logs helper, and best OGL was Kimmy! It was a tad bit embarassing when we OPT had to go up and stand in a line where our wonderful MCs, Zen & Glen, introduced us one by one and explaining to the campers the hard work we went through to prepare this camp for them.
& nearing the end, we FINALLY had time to take a group photo! Though all of us looked damn shag and like shit... We were really really glad that the camp was a success! ♡



Packed all our stuff and headed straight back to school. Had our debrief session which was surprisingly short, but it ended on an unhappy notes, cos people were saying that Chiam was protecting us and all... But well, it is a fact that constructive criticisms and suggestions should be given so as to help the next team who is taking over, and not criticising us when we can't turn back time and change everything again.
Did our own OPT briefing as well, where we all shared our views over the course of these 2 months.. Cried again cos Chiam cried.. Hahaha! Yes, I'm a crybaby too okay!


30 December: Unpacking!
Met back in school the next day cos Chiam was flying to Taiwan soon and New Year's Eve was coming, meaning the school is closed. We all came back after a good nights sleep and were all talking about how our pee was disgustingly dark cos we all didn't drink enough water and relied so much on red bull the past few days especially during the camp!
We unpacked everything and organized the Council Room till it was really organized and neat. & we managed to finish everything in time before the school was closed. Took some candid photos as well to remember the moments we had during meetings. & of course, a photo of us in our seats that we permanently sat for the past 2 months.




It was a joy working with this bunch of awesome people. We started off as strangers and ended as a wonderful team. We had our ups and downs, shed blood, sweat and tears during this whole journey, but it was one that we never regretted. Thank you once again for the wonderful memories guys. OPT2.0 ftw! ♡
