MOVED!

Just to start my life really anew, &since I've turned twentyone (which is the adult age for Singapore); I've decided to put this blog aside and move to a whole new one:

Please find me at this new link (:

Thank you all for reading my previous blog ;D

sixtenth - BIG BANG (twentyten is ending)

Sorry that this post is being made a little late due to some personal issues.

On twenty-sixth December night, I saw something that I shouldn't see. But it's okay, I'm getting over it already, at least, after all the sleeping-over-it, the blasts that have killed the sadness away, and the walking around(s) with Mother to shopping centres around the east of Singapore.

(I'm glad I can put this nicely now) After a really long time, I guess I can see my last (but most important) complicated relationship ending. The only way to make the one you love happy, is to let go of the love you've had. Don't say I'm not sad to let that relationship go, I am reluctant, but letting go will go to show that I'm getting strong enough to accept everything there is, and letting life go on without.

We've gone through so much, until it felt as if I've been together with you for more than nine months. Seems like two years, and seven months and three weeks (if you count till today). I know, we're still friends. You've been really downcast yesterday, I hope you'll be okay soon. You know where to find me when you need a listening ear and someone to talk to. I'm just a call / text / instant message away.
______________

That heavy-heartening thing aside, I've had a real hell of a blast on the twentyseventh of december (the last monday of the year) at Regina's place!
Venue: Haig Road, Time: 1830 hours - 2330 hours

There was a heck of a spread on the dinner table; such as chestnut-stuffed turkey, roasted pork belly with walnut and raisin stuffing, salmon wellington, fried vegetables, stir-fried mushrooms with asparagus, buttered corn, flourless chocolate (blackforest) log cake and fruit cake (which we didn't touch in the end). Oh, not to forget, (I hope my parents and sisters don't read this) an alcoholic spread, from red wine, to bailey's, amareto, and bacardi. But of course, as disciplined as I can always be, I stopped myself to red wine and bailey's only.

The food was really good!

So I shall go on with the activities; we basically only played Uno Stacko together, and there were loads of screaming crap here and there. Of course, I'm not the one who screamed as much as the main star at home. We've yet to think for Regina a forfeit for losing the game. Haha.

Anyway, the gift exchange was the most epic part of it all. Basically, I've given really practical (and more expensive) presents this year compared to the last, 'cause of my "generosity". I've given a Guess Wallet to Regina, Lingerie (La Senza) and Perfume (Zara) to Charmaine, and a Fox thickly-wooled hoodie to Adrienne. Apparently, I think I accidentally forgot to remove the receipt for the lingerie for Charmaine from the packaging and Regina forgot to cut off the tag for the bikini. Lol!

(blah blah blah)

I think you all should be curious on what I actually got instead. They're really epically funny / shocking / stunning to the eyes, like really. I'll upload the pictures here soon, 'cause I don't have my digital camera with me now, so therefore I'll be handicapped of photos for awhile. I'll add on when my sister's back and I'll borrow it from her (:

Regina gave: Bikini set and Paul Frank lip smackers.
Charmaine gave: DKNY Be Delicious EDP & Body Lotion set.
Adrienne gave: (epically) a stunning blue-and-black corset set with thongs.

Oh, a video was actually taken of myself opening the gifts. I'll upload it here soon. The last present's really epic though, and I heard I'll get an even more epic present next month when I reach twenty-one. I better hope not for another corset, or whichever around that line. It's so corny, 'cause I'm having that corset, and I'm having no one to show it to (or at).

Finally, we all left the place by 2330 because it was pretty late.

So, when I got home, my mother and sisters literally went to rummage through my paper bag(s) of gifts and checked out all the gifts I've got, and this happened:

  • My mother saw Adrienne's gift to me, and her jaw fully opened (literally!) and she was saying something like, "IS SHE MAD?!" really loudly, that I feel like shutting her mouth at that juncture. She even told my father, "HONEY, she gave Gillian a corset!" and he just replied, "Ahh, youngsters nowadays are like that, it's their surprises."
  • My sisters saw Adrienne's gift, and their eyes rolled. My youngest sister asked me, "Can I burn the thing for you?" really sarcastically. Of course, she didn't mean it. But I guarantee she would if I gave her my consent. For one, my sisters are really like NUNS compared to myself.
Of course, I just walked into my room. Hoho.

___________

Anyway, just remembering, I just came back from an interview at Changi North a couple of hours ago, and hope will get into the second round of interview (and then the job, of course). It's going to be the end of the year and the 2010 train's already leaving, and I'm still at the same juncture. The only way out, if I don't get the job is, temporary job. Argh, oh well...

On a lighter note, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the readers! :)
Hope everyone's had a good twenty-ten!

P.S I'll add pictures later in the day or something.
