A Big-Girl Haircut

When Jenna was a baby (here at 6 and 7 months) I cut her hair a few times because the top grew faster, and was almost mohawk-y, since the back and sides were so short. Above, she looks exactly like me, and below, I think she looks like Auntie Anna.

For awhile now, we've just been letting it grow. But her bangs went down to her nose, and got food or boogers stuck in them easily and often. She didn't seem to mind looking through hair, but one night last week, I decided it was getting a little ridiculous.

So now, my baby has a big girl haircut.

And as soon as I snipped, I wished I hadn't.

It's a pretty normal occurence for Natalie to be

shirtless after nap (or jammie-less when we

check on her at night) and today Jenna hopped

on that wagon. Natalie told me "I stick out my teeth when I smile" and

Jenna responded by sticking out her teeth for a smile :)

Sink Bath

The other day Jenna was standing in the sink looking at herself in the mirror and suddenly decided she needed a bath. So she sat down and turned on the water. Super cute.

Oliver & Natalie's New Years Party

I forgot to post this earlier. While mom and dad were having a New Year's Eve party Natalie and Oliver spent the night at grandma anne's and grandpa gerry's and got to ride a kiddy sized train. Pretty sweet party! The cool thing is that I had a nearly identical train when I was a little boy, if I ever find pictures I'll put them on this post.

Hair Cut

Natalie decided to give herself a haircut the other day. I understand this is kind of a rite of passage for little girls. Luckily it was discovered rather quickly and not too bad. And apparently, only when we really really don't want him to, big brothers help. (She was having trouble reaching the front part)

Snow Fun

It's been cold and snowy but we have occationally found some time to spend out in the snow.
