Technical Difficulties

My camera and computer have died! :( So I guess I am on a blogging vacation! Bummer! How can you have two cute little girls and not have a working camera! GRRR! Hopefully we will all be up and running soon!

We're Expecting!

Last year my parents bought an Alpacha name Maralyn! My brothers have also joined in on the fun and purchased one. So now begins the Porter family Alpacha farm! Now, I just have to save up for mine! :)

Maralyn is about to pop any day now! I can't wait to go down and see the little one!

Ditch Racing

We couldn't leave without doing a little ditch racing! It was once of my favorite things while visiting Grandma and Grandpa when I was little. Me and my cousin use to race pine cones! Karlie and Dustin had a race with some water balls.

Bloomington Canyon

For our last activity of our Family Fun Weekend we went to the Lakes up Bloomington canyon. It is so Beautiful up there! It is fun because you have to hike for a little bit to get back to the main Lake. Karlie walked the whole way up and back with her short little legs! I was so proud! :) Dustin did a little fishing but we couldn't catch anything. Next time we will make sure to take a lisence! Oops! Luckily we only got a warning! :)

I was happy to find an old disposable camera in the glove box so I could get some pictures. They turned out pretty bad but they are better than not having any at all.

Bear Lake

Continuing on with the family fun.....

Next we went to the Lake. Of all of my 25 years of Bear Laking, I have had some pretty good times. This time just might have been the best so far! The lake was warm, clean, and BEAUTIFUL as always! The girls had so much fun! Well, at least Karlie did! Natalie wasn't to sure what to think about it. The water wasn't exactly warm bath water. Over time she got pretty use to it. It was so fun to watch Karlie play. Dustin built her a sand house for her dolls. She eventally had a blast sitting and jumping up and down on it. My favorite part was watching her collect shells. She loved it!! I did too when I was younger! It is so fun to share with my children the places and activities that I loved while growing up. During our fun at the Lake I killed our camera. I am sure I would have taken a ton more pictures! Unfortunatly cameras don't like sand and water! WOOPS!

Fireworks

Usually when we make a trip to my Grandparents home in Bear Lake Valley we go with all of my family. Over the Fourth of July holiday, IT WAS JUST US! It was great. Don't get me wrong! I love it when we are all up there together. At first it was a little weird to be there without everyone. Karlie kept wondering when Grandma and Grandpa were coming and where Muffin was! It was so fun and so good for us to get away with just our little family. It was much more quiet too! :) We arrived just in time to have our own little firework show. We took a detore through Wyoming to pick up some decent ones. Karlie loved the fireworks! We didn't have much, but we had just enough to make Karlie happy!

Zoo Fun!

A few weeks ago we went to the zoo with Sarah and the kids. We had a lot of fun! Karlie loves to go to the zoo. She especially likes to feed all of the goats. It is so fun that we live close. The kids love to play together!
