I love reading other blogs! I think that is why I can't seem to keep mine updated. I spend all my blogging time reading others. I also love to find really great ideas that I have to share. This one comes to you from Alpha Mom. It is a fathers day gift for your superhero. Soooo cute, easy and inexpensive! You can even print off the labels. Awesome! I can't wait to make this for Dustin to take to his studio. (ummm, I mean, secret lair.) Click HERE to get started.

In October
Karlie was one of the first Student's of the month! (awww)
This year the girls Halloween costumes were in honor of Papa Porter. (My Dad) He loves candy corn!! I went candy corn crazy! I bought all the candy corn decor I saw.
Karlie was the candy corn witch that turns naughty little children into candy corn. She even came up with a spell to cast on her sister.
It was nice to get away from the princess costumes this year.
All I want for Christmas....
Well, I guess it's about time I get this thing up to date. I'm hoping it will help me to blog more often. The next few posts will most likely be boring with too many pictures. So bare with me and lets hope I can get through this!
To kick things off I will share a current picture of Karlie. I took it yesterday just before she hopped on the bus for school. I just love the way she looks lately. I am always asking her to smile at me.
It's just too bad it's not Christmas!

Hey, remember me?
I have been wanting to make my big (or not so big) blogging come back for a while now. But seriously, where do I start? It has been quite the sad story. First, our computer died. Well, actually blew up. Taking all of my precious pictures with it. My pictures are still being held captive by the big nasty monster of a computer. I'm hoping to get them off soon!!
Then enters my nice sleek sweet laptop for Christmas. It was just begging for lots of pictures to be uploaded! I was going to post about Christmas and Birthdays. Because seriously, they rocked!! But alas, I left my camera battery charger in Utah. The very heart and soul of my camera was missing for more than a month! It was tragic! But now, all is well. My camera has been brought back to life and pictures have been uploaded. So now I must share with you pictures of my little darlings on Valentines Day.

Kindergarten
At 8:00 this morning I put Karlie on the school bus and sent her off to Kindergarten. I seriously can't believe it! She won't be home until 2:45. That means more recess, more coloring, and even lunch at school! This year they switched to all day Kindergarten. She will be going 2 to 3 times a week, so she will still have fun full days at home with me and Natalie. Until next year. :(
I couldn't resist comparing these two pictures. It doesn't seem like long at all since I had my picture taken at my kindergarten desk. My Mom told me to sit down and take out my book and pretend like I was doing school work. I was so embarrassed!! So of course, I had to do the same thing at back-to-school night. Karlie didn't mind though! And I am now happy that my mom took that picture. Thanks Mom!

Bug Hospital
I noticed a bigger ant carrying something pretty big for it's size. My weird ant curiosity peaked and I had to get a closer look.
When I had finished my ant observation for the day, I turned to the family to let them know,
"I just saw an ant carrying a dead bug!"
The response was this, " Maybe he is taking him to the hospital."
Oh my sweet Karlie. I just love the things she comes up with!
