A Chilly End
First thing in the morning Little Guy had his final game. I was thinking the sun would help us out, but it was even worse because of the wind. It was painfully cold. Grandpa Thompson joined us for this one.
Little Guy played goalie for the second half. You can tell by their smiles that their team picture was a week earlier when it was really warm.
They both had a great season.

Double Concerts
The next day my friend invited me to see Taylor Swift in the theater. It was for her birthday. I'm not a huge Swiftie, but I do enjoy some of her music. While I was there I realized there were certain albums that I knew most of the songs and then there were certain albums I must have missed completely. It was fun, but I will say it was almost more entertaining watching the fans crying at the concert.

Donuts with Grown Ups
The school is a bit brilliant to combine Scholastic Book Fair with Donuts. They look forward to this every year.

Pumpkin Patch Divisions
It was particularly dry and dusty. It was almost hot out there this year. We went at the perfect time because the weather turned very wet and cold after the weekend.
The Littles are particularly excited to carve their pumpkin this year.

Tis the Season
We had yet another set of recitals today. I had students in all 4 recitals, and all 4 of my kiddos participated in 2 of them.
Little Guy played Badinage on the piano, BB played Vega by Vandercook on the trumpet, Little Man played Snowflake by Andrew York on the guitar and Solfeggio in c minor by CPE Bach.Little Lady was rather busy. She played Le petit negre by Debussy and Scherzo by Gurlitt on piano. She sang and played Peace in Christ, and also played Tarantella, Op. 25 by Squire on the cello.
BB was upset with the way he played and so was Little Man, but overall it was a great recital.
